Many of our scenes conclude with the freshly spanked girl being placed in the corner for reflection.  Why?  Because it’s a great excuse to have the camera zoom in on the bare, red bottom while still being somewhat plausible with regard to storyline.  On other occasions the girl will stand up after her spanking and rub her glowing naked cheeks as she is given a final lecture by the spanker.  Just a little step outside reality as if that were me having been disciplined by an authority figure, I would sure as heck get my clothes back in place and then rub … but we’d lose that lovely visual.  Skip reality and keep the bare bottomed rubbing. 

When a girl is left to compose herself after her spanking (such as in a bedroom or locker room) and is alone, that’s another perfectly good time for a little exposure as the girl takes a moment to inspect her poor bottom.  I’d absolutely do this.  In fact, usually one of the first things I’ll do after a spanking is try to take a peek at my bottom to see if it’s on fire because it sure feels that way.  And if that takes place during a scene, then what a good opportunity for the camera to take a look too.

Now I am always one to vote for variety.  Even the best ice cream in the world can get a little tiresome if you have the same flavor day in and day out.  And as wonderful as cornertime is for presenting the naughty red bottom, it can get rather routine.  Aside from the 2 endings that I’ve mentioned above, we’ve also had some scenes simply fade out during the action (no conclusion at all) or had the girl walk off to her room (or class or where ever she’s ordered).  On some occasions we’ve tried to vary the corner time finish slightly by having the girl kneel instead of stand or lie on her bed rubbing her sore bottom when told to remain in her room.  Seated cornertime would pretty much defeat the purpose … although it might be fun to see the girl squirm a little on a wooden stool.

What are some alternate endings to a scene that you might like to see?  To heck with seeing the bare bottom on display for a close up?  A variation on the cornertime theme?  Or something else entirely?

 Last weekend I enjoyed soaking up a little bit of sun (covered in SPF 85 though so I didn’t get much of a tan!!) and celebrating Memorial day poolside with good friends.  To help celebrate, I was decked out in a patriotic pattern swimsuit.  I joked that I ended up looking more like an American Gladiator than anything else.  LOL.  It was pointed out though that in order to be more like the traditional flag, the suit should have only had stars on the one panel and stripes on the other and on the bottom!  Very true indeed.  It does look a bit off.

What to do, what to do.  Well, while we can’t add stripes to the bikini bottom, we can add them to the bare bottom.  Nicely done using a fantastic little strap that was sent to me by a good spanking friend (you know who you are) in a care package.  Thank you!

In a previous post, Kelly commented about the slipper being one spanking implement that was a total personal turn-off.  She wondered if it actually hurt, but her main displeasure was with the thought of a dirty sole being used on a bare bottom.  Tim assured Kelly that the slipper does indeed hurt but I noticed he couldn’t put her mind at ease about the dirt factor.  LOL. 

I have not (yet) felt the sting of an authentic U.K. slipper, but I have been spanked with a Keds sneaker which to me looks similar.  I can only attest to the rubber sole of this canvas low top sneaker making a thuddy impact coupled with a hornet’s sting.  Here is a photographic evidence of my run-in with the evil footwear back along.  At least it was a newly purchased shoe without any icky street dirt on the sole.

For those that are more familiar with authentic slippers, are the gym shoe variety similar to the Keds featured above?

Any thoughts about the ‘dirt’ factor?  Personally, I find the thought of a street worn shoe applied to my bottom less icky than the thought of a wooden spanking spoon being used to stir spaghetti sauce.  Just to be on the safe side, let’s eliminate any chance for cross contamination and ban the use of either item as a spanking implement.   I assure you, it’s only in the name of health and science. 

I’m a big fan of Post Secret – an ongoing community art project in which people mail their secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard.  Most mornings I check out my favorite spanking blogs and forums as I dig into my oatmeal, but on Sundays, Post Secret comes first.  I am often touched by the thoughts and experiences people share and how they choose to express them on a postcard.  I smile at the witty observations and wince when I feel someone’s pain.  And when someone posts a secret close to one of my own, I feel such a sense of community knowing I’m not the only one.

There are a lot of secrets that we keep when it comes to our love of spanking.  How many of us have kept our interest in spanking a secret from friends, family, or even tried to deny it to ourselves at some point?  And there are secrets and thoughts about spanking that we may not have shared with others; not even fellow spankos. 

Inspired by Post Secret, here are a few of the spanking related digital postcards I might have submitted.  Nothing too outrageous since I’m not able to share anonymously if I’m posting them on my own blog.

I’m still getting settled in and trying to catch up so if you’ve written to me and haven’t heard back yet, don’t worry.  I’m still home and will reply as soon as I can.  Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone for your continued positive thoughts and support!

While I was in the hospital last week, my scene as a spanker on Punished Brats in Sister’s Authority premiered.  I nervously anticipated any feedback on the scene and wondered how it would go over with viewers.  I’d already gotten a little taste in reading some comments on Spanking Tube and in emails in reaction to the DVD preview clips.  Not surprisingly some wanted to see more of me as a spanker and others said to stick to being a bottom.  LOL!  Well, I plan to do a bit of both (though more bottoming than topping for now). 

As with nearly everything in the world, there will always be directly opposing preferences and points of view, but since this was a fairly new role for me, I wondered if I was doing it “right”.  Being a worry wart, I was pretty self-concious during the filming.  Thankfully I had a good comfort level in working with Lily Anna both in that we are friends and that I knew she could take a solid spanking.  I smacked firmly, but how was the pace?  Should I be as unchanging as a metronome?  Randomly switch the rhythm?  Pick up speed and intensity over time like a runaway train?  What about the pattern?  Left, right, left, right?  Vary it a little?  Ditch the pattern all together and focus solely on making sure both lovely cheeks were a matching shade of red?  And did I just give her bottom a mocking rub???  Stop that.   

If I was giving Lily Anna the spanking in private (because she no doubt deserves it anyway) and not on camera in a scene, I probably would not have worried about so many details.  But what may otherwise be a natural method may not be so interesting to the viewer. 

So help me out.  Weigh in with your opinion and share in fussing over details.  When watching a scene do you like an even pace and back and forth pattern?  Is variety welcome or distracting?  Is there a really right or wrong way?

Whew!  Finally home again.  At least my stay was not as long as last time, but it still seemed like forever.  I am happy to report that I am feeling much better.  Once again I have to continue with close follow up care and near daily treatment.  Rest, recuperation, and infuriation of medical staff are top on my to-do list.    Back on track blogging very soon!

While I was home last week I was able to do an interview with Fixe magazine, and thanks to technology (and with the help of a cell phone carrying friend) I am able to share this with you all. I shouldn’t be gone long this time around, just have to finish up a couple of icky treatments.

I was all set to respond to all of the great comments left on the last post, but unfortunately I have to go back to the hospital for what I sure hope will be a much briefer stay.  I am not at all happy as I can’t even stand the sight of a hospital at this point and it’s far too gorgeous outside to be cooped up indoors, but I am having some renal issues that take priority.

I hate to leave things here and on PB hanging again, but there is some good news.  There is a Punished Brats shoot coming up on May 15th that will feature a fantastic line up including 2 highly requested fan favorites who have been away for some time.  I’m very bummed that I won’t be in shape to participate in that shoot (though I sure as heck hope to be home by then!!!), but I’m very eager to see the content produced by the whole cast.  Trust me, it’s going to be a good one.

I am confident this will be a short absence so you’ll barely even miss me, but in the meantime, members can check out my debut on Punished Brats as a switch with Lily Anna on May 12th.  I had originally planned to put this scene in the members’ section a little later, but because of many requests for this scene, I’ve revised the schedule and bumped it up.  I hope you’ll like it!

Saturday was such a blur!  I got a chance to prove that for better or worse (better in my opinion), that I can be just as hardheaded as hard-bottomed.

I know that many of you voiced amazing care and concern to me not to overdo it this past weekend.  I think I kept my promise, and as always, I was in good hands with my husband by my side.  But on Saturday morning, he said he thought I was taking on too much, not looking well, and that we should go home.  I pitched a world-class brat fit complete with tears and whining.  Oh, and did I mention that this all took place 10 minutes before I was scheduled to participate in the Tanner’s Reformatory?  What timing. 

I didn’t know what to do.  I had made a commitment and darn it, I wanted to stick by it.  Plus it was such an honor and a thrill to take part in a schoolgirl role play performance.  Lily Anna knocked on my door clad in her super cute school uniform all ready to head down for our spankings and I threw her right under the bus.  Not the school bus; not quite anyway.  But I asked her if she’d take my place as inmate in the Reformatory.  She thought I was joking until I told her the situation.  She then nervously agreed knowing that this spelled major doom for her bottom.  That’s a good friend!

After a few more minutes of discussing, begging, and a gallon of tears, my husband agreed to stay and I flew down to the Reformatory.  I pulled myself together with the hugs and support of good friends there and spared poor Lily Anna as I took my place as bad girl.  Getting away from real life and stepping into the role of naughty school girl was just what I needed.  Nothing could have been more therapeutic at that moment. 

It was such a thrill and so much fun.  I hate that real life created a drama llama moment, but again, major thanks to everyone that offered me loving support and allowed me to participate.

I was a bad ass reform school girl clad in what must be the cutest inmate uniform ever.  I had to be punished for my most recent crime of suggesting that anyone looking for a good time ought to give Ms. Chella a call.  Oh and this happened to be written (along with her phone number — I’m helpful like that) on the side of a blimp nearby the school.  I was then punished for my misdeed by Mike Wood, Rad Finch, Mike Stein, and Miranda Marx as Ms. Chella looked on and mocked me.  See, she so deserved all the trouble I may have caused for her.   

I loved getting punished alongside my fellow inmates and the class of incoming school girls.  It’s so exhilarating to get spanked as a part of a large group!

After the Reformatory skit, my husband and I headed outside to scrounge up some lunch on the boardwalk.  It was a glorious blue sky afternoon and I just had to pose alongside this very fitting boardwalk sign.

Jail?? But I just got out of the Reformatory!

I rested up for the remainder of the day as I had another big event scheduled that evening.  I wasn’t going to be a schoolgirl this time, but the equally naughty and spankworthy Pixie Abdul!  Richard (Simon Cowell) Windsor, Miss (Randy Jackson) Chris, and I got to judge Spanking Karaoke American Idol style with Sarah (Ryan Seacrest) Gregory as hostess. 

Although I have honestly never seen an episode of American Idol, I was told I did a very good job of playing the kooky, ditzy, ‘nice’ judge just like Paula Abdul.  Hmmmm.  What can I say, it comes naturally.

The performances were amazing!  Honestly, it would have been extremely hard to criticize any of the singers as there was a ton of talent plus such courage in getting up on stage to start with.  Personally, I’ll only go so far as to sing along with the radio in the car. 

After the karaoke performances had finished for the evening, I got to feel Miss Jackson’s Chris’ punishing palm.  Maybe she heard me singing in the car???

And then Sarah and I took a turn over her lap for a simultaneous double spanking.  That was so cool to try.

Wow, I can’t believe a week has flown by already!!

Wow!  Having been sick for a few weeks, I feel like I’ve been out of the spanking loop forever.  I have barely had a chance to get caught up on the world of online fun, but I’m incredibly thankful to have been well enough to attend the Boardwalk Badness Weekend.  It was an absolutely spectacular event.  Congratulations and many thanks to Jules, Miranda, Coach Tanner, and Mike for putting together a wonderful party here at the Jersey shore!  And big hugs to them all for being so warm and welcoming as I was nervous as heck.  It was great to get back into the scene and say hello to so many friendly people.  Thank you to everyone that stopped by the Punished Brats table and said hello to David Pierson, Lily Anna, and me!

I took it easy and I didn’t play as much as I might have otherwise, but my bottom was reacquainted with that sweet sting of spanking a few times.  The first was from Miranda Marx at the vendor’s fair on Friday night.  Miranda made one smokin’ hot nurse and when she says it’s time to get spanked, resistance is futile.  Maybe she got reports of the troublesome patient I could be from the hospital (no lie, just ask my cell phone smuggling partner in crime, Lily Anna). 

In any case, I was quickly tossed over her knee for a bottom warming. 

Not even my best cheerleader kick could get me out of this one! 

But it was just what the doctor ordered.
