The tree is decorated, the shopping is done, the presents are wrapped, and yesterday, my boyfriend and I practically toured NY picking up all sorts of holiday treats. My favorite stop was the German market stocked with tons of cookies, candies, bread, honeys, smoked meat, and many other delicacies. We left with two large, overflowing shopping bags! I hope we have lots of company stop by for the holidays because we have enough food to feed an army.

One of my purchases was a carton of Hit Cookies, selected as much for the name as for the mouthwatering description. I’ll take some Hit Cookies and Smack Crackers to go please!


I don’t know why that amused me so, but the cookies look tasty in any case.

With only a few days left before Christmas, it’s time to don the holiday panties. Today I’ve selected a pair with candy cane style red & white stripes. I suppose I could get away with wearing them any time of year, but they look festive to me and I want to save the ones that say Naughty or Nice for Christmas Eve. :)

Misha and Peanut are in the Christmas spirit as well. As you can see, they’ve been enjoying all of the boxes shipments have arrived in lately.
