Happy Halloween! It probably comes as no surprise that I love Halloween. A holiday that involves ghosts, candy, and costumes? What more could you ask for?

It’s always a challenge to decide what to be for Halloween. There are so many cute costumes that picking just one is harder than eating just one piece of candy corn.

After changing my mind (and my outfit) multiple times, I settled on being a naughty pirate. While it’s definitely not a suitable costume to wear to hand out candies to trick or treaters, I wore it around the house today just for fun. I had to change back into a more family friendly look of jeans and an orange top for now, but will be changing back later tonight when my boyfriend and I head out for a party.

After being away last week and then very busy the past couple of days, I wasn’t sure I’d have a chance to carve a pumpkin in time. But it wouldn’t be Halloween with at least one jack-o-lantern, so I got to work and made one this afternoon.

I made a cat-o-lantern actually.

But you know what happens to naughty pirates? No, not the plank. They get a smack on the booty and put in the corner.

Pirates are not big fans of corner time.

Next year I think I’ll go as an angel. Angels don’t get spanked and they don’t do corner time … errr, right?

More Pre-Pixie Pics and A Question

I think I’m going to make a bumper sticker that says “Friends don’t let friends roll in poison ivy”. Ugh. I’m currently slathered in the lovely pink Calamine lotion and narrowly avoided a nice shot of Prednisone that was to be administered to my butt. (Hey, I only let Dr. Veronica have that “honor”.) So I think it might be a while before I’ll feel like taking any new photos. Thankfully I don’t have any more shoots scheduled for this month as we are working hard on preparations for the Shadow Lane party on Labor Day weekend.

So since I can’t post any new photos, I went digging through my collection of old ones. Pre-Pixie pics in fact. I noticed that for someone who detests the corner, I sure seem to be in it an awful lot. But then I suppose that’s the point really. If I enjoyed the corner (and I can’t imagine that’s even remotely possible) it wouldn’t make such a fine addition to a spanking.

I also noticed that in all three photos that I posted, I’m in pajamas. I think pajamas and spankings go so very well together because there’s nothing quite like being sent to bed with a hot bottom. It just seems that I got stuck with a bit of a detour to the corner first. Judging from the redness in my cheeks though, I’d say it’s fair to reason that my bottom was still quite warm by the time I was allowed out of the boring corner and permitted to go to bed.

I had other bare bottom pictures of me in the corner or otherwise that I considered posting. But I refrained because some of them show a bit heavier marks than just a red glow. I’ve always been able to take firm spankings, but prior to being spanked quite regularly as I am now, I was far more prone to bruising. The very same hairbrush spanking that I can take now and walk away with only a hot red bottom would have left me with some very defined marks a few years ago.

I know that some people love to see bruises and to others it’s a complete ick factor. I don’t wish to share something that would scare anyone off so before I consider posting anything more than a pink to red bottom, I’d like to hear your feedback.

Corner Time … fun???

Well, it sure looks like Jessica is having fun in the corner. How can that be?? Corner time is the worst! Holly seems to be having a pretty good time herself. Too funny.

Even though I’m not including this picture in the gallery from tonight’s update, Protecting Sister part 2, it was too cute not to share.

Corner Time Contemplation

Let me just say, I hate corner time! Not just a mild dislike … I seriously can’t stand it. Whether done for real or just as part of a scene, I dread nothing more than keeping my nose to the wall.

I know others don’t think it’s so bad. After all it can be a quiet moment for reflection, a time to practice some deep breathing, and provided you’re standing there quietly, at least you’re not getting spanked.

So why then is it so dreadful to me? In part it’s because I get bored pretty easily, but more so because I hate to be unproductive and what’s more unproductive than staring at a wall? I like to be busy doing something at all times. In fact, I’m usually doing several things at once. For example, right now I’m writing this post, watching TV, and working out on my elliptical trainer all at the same time. Yeah, I’m skilled like that.

Corner time passes way slower than regular time. I’m sure of it. The minutes pass like hours. My mind cries out for stimulation. I make a mental grocery list, think of math problems, plot revenge … 30 seconds have passsed. I become acutely aware of every little itch I need to scratch, every muscle I need to stretch … 1 minute if I’m lucky. I begin to fidget, hum, and see just how far I can turn around without being caught. Suddenly a warning spank is delivered and another interminable minute is added to my sentence. Ugh. I suppose I could simply behave and avoid the corner altogether, but now what fun would that be?
