It’s good to be home.

Since I met my boyfriend, he’s always commented on my not-so-healthy beverage choices and urged me to drink more water. Then recently when we needed to buy a refrigerator, I claimed that if we bought the kind with the through-the-door water and ice dispenser, I’d without a doubt be drinking water all the time. Honestly, I had good intentions … or at least my intentions sounded good at the time, but aside from getting a few ice cubes to chill down my diet sodas, I hadn’t used it at all.

My boyfriend, upon seeing me reach for my umpteenth Diet Coke a little while back, asked when the last time I had any water was. “I don’t recall” was apparently the wrong answer. I agreed to a water challenge – the first week I’d have to have just one 8 oz. glass of water a day, the second week, two glasses, and so on until I was at 4 – 8 oz. glasses a day. I could then drink as much diet soda as I wanted after that, but at least I’d be getting a decent amount of water in each day.

I failed my challenge … miserably. I had less than 8 oz. in a week, far short of my 8 oz. a day goal. I tried to reason (*cough*weasel*cough*) my way out of what was coming next. I argued that the main ingredient in Diet Coke is water, albeit carbonated and blended ever so deliciously with other items such as caramel color, aspartame, citric acid, and errrmm … caffeine. Drat.

So then I offered to replace the majority of my Diet Coke consumption with non-caffeinated sodas, but he said soda is soda and water is water. The fridge comes with through-the-door water, not Diet Coke, not Diet Sprite, or any other kind of soda. (Personally, I think refrigerators should come with through-the-door Diet Coke. Brilliant!)

I got a very warm reminder after my bath to do better this coming week. I also drank a 16 oz glass of water as a show of good faith.

I’m still trying to sort through what can be categorized as water aside from the obvious pure H2O. So far I know that:

Water = Water
Water w/ Lemon = Water
Propel Fitness Water = Water
Water w/ Lemon and a packet of Equal = Questionable
Water w/ Yummy Flavors and Carbonation = Soda, Not Water
Water heated and filtered through finely ground roasted Arabica beans gathered from the hillsides of Columbia = Not A Chance :-/

We picked our own apples – McIntosh and Red Delicious.

Mmmmmm. I love apples. I’m a very happy girl with my bag filled to the very top with the yummy treats.

The bag held about 5 lbs of apples. I was kicking myself for not going for the bigger bag as I have a lot of apple recipes I want to try out. I also wish I had picked more McIntosh than Red Delicious because the latter is not recommended for baking.

It’s a little early yet to make a jack o’lantern, but a nice whole pumpkin is festive too. As I picked through the pumpkins, my boyfriend snapped a picture of my pumpkins!

Today I got a chance to put those lovely apples to good use and made an apple pie. Would you like a piece? Apple turnovers are up next. Or maybe apple cobbler. And apple strudel muffins.

You know the saying, “American as apple pie”? Well, to keep with the theme, here are some stars and stripes.

As planned, yesterday we bought several necessary household appliances like a refrigerator and a dehumidifier and then went back to the house to continue painting. The people at the dehumidifier packaging plant must have known this one would be sent to a home with a bratty bottom in need of some discipline because they included a handy paddle-like piece of wood within the box. Or perhaps this is part of their new campaign like cereal companies have? Free toy inside??

So since I can’t post any new photos, I went digging through my collection of old ones. Pre-Pixie pics in fact. I noticed that for someone who detests the corner, I sure seem to be in it an awful lot. But then I suppose that’s the point really. If I enjoyed the corner (and I can’t imagine that’s even remotely possible) it wouldn’t make such a fine addition to a spanking.

I also noticed that in all three photos that I posted, I’m in pajamas. I think pajamas and spankings go so very well together because there’s nothing quite like being sent to bed with a hot bottom. It just seems that I got stuck with a bit of a detour to the corner first. Judging from the redness in my cheeks though, I’d say it’s fair to reason that my bottom was still quite warm by the time I was allowed out of the boring corner and permitted to go to bed.

I had other bare bottom pictures of me in the corner or otherwise that I considered posting. But I refrained because some of them show a bit heavier marks than just a red glow. I’ve always been able to take firm spankings, but prior to being spanked quite regularly as I am now, I was far more prone to bruising. The very same hairbrush spanking that I can take now and walk away with only a hot red bottom would have left me with some very defined marks a few years ago.

I know that some people love to see bruises and to others it’s a complete ick factor. I don’t wish to share something that would scare anyone off so before I consider posting anything more than a pink to red bottom, I’d like to hear your feedback.

Once in the bedroom (where there is less of a chance of getting yelled at by my cat Peanut), my boyfriend likes to toss me over his knee while in a standing position. He’s found that it not only positions my bottom nice and high for him, but I’m not able to crawl away as easily as when I’m otk on the bed. Foiled again.

My sweet boyfriend kindly offered to assist in applying my Satsuma body cream which I swear by for keeping my skin soft and hydrated after intense spankings. He was being so nice and said he couldn’t spank me since I was so sore from yesterday …

… but I guess when presented with not only bratty behavior (hey, I thought I was in a no-spank zone and could push my luck), but a perfectly positioned bare bottom, he could no longer resist.

Talk about double ouch! Not only was I feeling the deep down soreness from my hairbrush spankings yesterday, but also the intense surface sting of a spanking on a freshly lotioned bottom.

It was only a hand spanking, but it hurt so much that I literally held my poor cheeks and did the spanky dance around the room when I stood up. My boyfriend said he didn’t know I could dance an Irish jig. I shot him a look, but stopped to consider my situation, and wisely chose not to make any smart remarks.

The sun bleached out a little bit of the color in the first pic, but you can see the nice red glow much better in this one.
