Ever play the ice breaker / travel game, 3 Truths and a Lie? I was engaging in a couple rounds of this not long ago and thought I’d test out a spanking version.
Now I’ve been spanked by my husband for some pretty random things in our playful mock discipline manner, but can you figure out which of the following was not cause for a red bottom?
1. Jumped out from around a dark corner and completely startled him
2. Said if Iwas in a real life version of the movie Halloween, I’d be the first one dead because I’d be too scared to run or hide
3. Was pulled over for passing on the right
4. Gloated too much over correcting an error in the checkbook
Can you spot which one it is? Or am I totally fibbing and they are all true … or all false … or … hmmm.

I’d say number 3 because it involves other people. You wouldn’t be spanked by your husband for a traffic violation because it wouldn’t be a playful thing anymore.

I can’t imagine that the first one was allowed to pass unpunished. It’s not healthy to waste adrenaline without a proper release. I’d say that’s among the most effective bratniques, though.

I haven’t heard of this game before but it sounds really cool and fun. Now for my guess I am going to go with #2, that you would be the first one killed in the Halloween movie. Of course that could also be true in real life because you are so sweet and innocent in real life! LOL!

I would say #2 as was mentioned ‘sounds too made up’. Passing on the right side is positively a spanking offense as it is too dangerous (unless you are driving in England where that is the correct side to pass on).

I’m gonna go with #2. Spanking someone for being scared doesn’t seem reasonable. On the other hand, spanking someone for being silly…. Getting a ticket for passing on the right seems to border on real punishment…..
Of course, as has been mentioned before and elsewhere, with a bottom like yours, breathing and blinking are good reasons for a red bottom. {grin}

When you say passing on the right, do you mean on the shoulder, or do you mean passing in the right lane of at least a four lane highway? Hmmm…seems unlikely you would pass on the right if it meant you were on the shoulder…because it is very unsafe. However I can totally see you gloating a little too much if you found an error your husband made.

It’s legal to pass on the right in the state of Maryland as well.
I’m guessing the one where you jumped out at your husband from around a dark corner,though I bet it was more of a playful swat and a “Don’t you EVER do that again!”
