Whew! I am one whooped Pixie. It’s been a very busy week for me. I’m not complaining at all as I’d much rather be busy than bored and looking for trouble. >:) We had a Punished Brats shoot this past Saturday which was awesome. I am going to work on putting together the preview photos from each scene for Pixie’s Previews as well as typing up a little mini intro interview I did with our new brat, Lorraine. She was so cute.
She hadn’t done a spanking video before and while she had played a little in real life, it’s very different when trying to do four full length scenes within the span of a day. She emailed me the next day to say she was still having trouble sitting down! I can totally empathize with her as I took my share of hard spankings that day too. Owww!
And just yesterday I did another shoot where I did quite a few fun yet very firm scenes (details at a later date … am I a tease or what?) so I’m not real thrilled having to sit here at my desk chair at the moment. There is another fabulous SSNY party being held tomorrow night, but I am going to sit (well, sorta) this one out as I need some time to rest and recover. I’m bummed as I always love going to the parties, but I am trying to stick to my resolution of resting when I’m tired and giving my bottom a break as needed too. Safety first!
Vanilla life has been jam packed too. I was given two web site design projects to work on (fun), way too many doctor appointments (not so fun), and perhaps best of all, I was contacted by a gallery coordinator to discuss showcasing some of my photos this summer. I had a meeting with the gentleman first thing this morning. I was so nervous as we went through and he selected photos he’d like to display. I squirmed and shifted in my chair, but that can’t be blamed all on anxiety. Do you know what it’s like to sit on a wicker seat with a sore, spanked bottom? Argh! I kept thinking about Richard Windsor’s use of the term “naughty chair” and felt like that’s exactly what I’d been placed in. At least it was not facing the corner.

Wow! First Comment! A rare honor indeed. Allow me to welcome Lorraine to the PB collective, I’m sure she’ll delight and enthrall along with the rest of you. And yes you are a tease. I’d recommend that if your husband reads this he take you firmly in hand, but as you are rather tender right now, I’m sure he will in the not too distant future! And I’m sure you’ll love it protest though you may.
Doctor’s appointments? Are you not well? I wish you a speedy and comprehensive recovery in all matters as Spring is just around the corner and I want my favorite Pixie hale and hearty for her delightful outdoor photo shoots, nude or otherwise.

Tough luck about the chair, but excellent that the gallery director is interested in you photography! I hope lovely things come out of that.
January 22nd, 2010 - 9:38 pm
Oh lord, those chairs are the WORST! I once had to sit on one right after an afternoon of spanking and caning. It was a restaurant patio and it was the only kind of chair they had — augh!
Sooo, Pixie…. are you going to tell us about the new spanker guy, too?
January 22nd, 2010 - 10:58 pm
I can certainly sympathize with you about too many doctors appointments. I’ll write you more later on that!!
Being from the “Sunshine state” we have a lot of those beach chairs with thin plastic strap webbing that we also have in the house. They tend to stretch when you sit on them and it pulls slightly on your pants, skirt or bathing suit bottom in normal situations. BUT … when you sit bare bottom on them after a spanking the stretching tends to pull the skin and can be absolute torture. Richard Windsor’s “naughty chair” can come in many different types and materials.
I’m glad your “Resting Up” LOL Don’t make us have to get together for a group visit!!

I, for one, would love to see your gallery display. About those doctor visits, I hope you’re okay. Take care, pixie.
January 23rd, 2010 - 2:35 am
Congrats on your gallery showing!! You’ve more than earned it from what you’ve shown us. Will you be allowed to post the pics that are being displayed? You must be excited. Wish I could get to NJ (or wherever your gallery is) for your opening (which you must post photos of…the obligatory “Pixie in an evening dress” shot, etc).
Hope you’re ok with all the doctors visits, etc, and that your bottom feels better…eventually.

I walked through the malls this season and after looking at the calenders my thought was, “Pixie should do one of these.”
A vanilla one for the masses and a spanko one for the blog members!

Pixie…First congrats on the gallery showcase your pictures are awesome. You have to stop being so nervouse about things like that. I understand most people are there worst own critics and its nice to feel like your work has merit( doesn’t it). There is something that I just recently figured out and I think it might help you, you need to be fearless not fearless in the way of not having any fears but fearless in the way of living inspite of those fears like loving again eventhough your heart has been broken, or doing something your scared of just to say that you did it. If have just recently decided to tat2 the word fearless on me so I will never forget that.

Forgot one thing all of those doctors appointment…Hope everything is ok..

Like many intelligent people, you have a problem with boredom. I recognize your intelligence in many ways..A busy mind is a good mind!
But, when all is said and done, I prefer your sweet smile..:)
My friendship is true.

Uncomfortable sitting after a spanking, from a story by lurking dragon that can be found on lauras spanking corner:
Illustration from spanking art wiki:
http://spankingartwiki.animeotk.com/w/images/e/eb/Cornerstool.jpg
text:
The CornerStool™ was designed to sit on in the corner, of course. Since it was assumed one would be well-spanked, the stool’s crossbars were all right down next to the floor, where the naughty one couldn’t get her feet on them to lift her weight off her sore bum. (It came in varying heights, too). And it featured two little additions to help naughty ones contemplate their crimes.
One was the ankle rest. This was adjustable. It was a small board that angled out and down from two of the legs at about a 45 degree angle, sticking out 30-40 cm. It was made of smoothly polished wood, and had two deep cutouts where the ankles could fit. And an optional locking crossbar to keep her ankles IN the cutouts, if necessary.
This would hold the naughty ones feet and legs out from under the stool, just a little. Just enough to keep a one from shifting her weight off of her spanked (or about to be spanked) bottom and onto her upper thighs. This was a trick all spanked girls learned in the corner — to get as much weight off of their sore bottoms as they possibly could. But not on a CornerStool. On it ones whole weight would be on her naughty bottom in the center of the stool’s top.
Its very special top.
The stool’s sitting surface could be ordered in any one of several variations. The top of this stool had been divided into hundreds of little 1cm by 1cm squares. And in each square the wood had been ground into a little pyramid, 1cm on each side, slanting up to a little point just 3mm above the surrounding wood.
Just enough to make sitting on the stool for any length of time very uncomfortable and enough to make sitting on the stool on a well-spanked bare bottom an awful, painful ordeal.
It could’ve been worse. 1cm were the largest squares, and 3mm close to the lowest pyramids. Worst of all were supposed to be the ones cut into triangular pyramids. Some were said to be almost like sitting on needles. The design of the sitting surface had originally been taken from a hammer-like kitchen gadget used to ‘tenderize’ tough cuts of meat. If it was effective in tenderizing meat, the theory went, it should be effective in tenderizing naughty bottoms, too.
Of course, they also made the stools with the seats cut into a hexagon pattern. The broader base and six-sided pyramids made these stools far less uncomfortable.
I I think we should all get together and have one of these stools specially made for our Dear Miss Pixie since she “enjoyed” her wicker chair expereince so much! Gosh, wouldn’t Amber look SO CUTE sitting on one of these stools, her panties down at her ankles, her skirt pinned up in the back between her shoulders, her legs extended slightly out and locked into the “foot rest”. Poor baby, it just makes you want to kiss her on the forehead and tell her to take her punsihment like a good girl, doesn’t it?

I have to second Erica and ask… Who’s the new spanker guy?
January 24th, 2010 - 5:26 pm
you know Pixie, i really admire you -even more than i admire full time lifestylists. i mean, not only do you balance a successful job and your photography (which, from one photographer to another is great btw) but you also balance the website and you spanking life. i think that is much more admiral than any girl who is just a full time slave. thanks for all the good reads.

Great news about the showing–your photography is inspired. Mischa’s new vid is adorable, like her last one. Lorraine looks really cute! Best wishes.

Hiya Pixie,
Congrats on having your nature photography on gallery display—that is fantastic. I’ve been a long-time fan of your beautiful outdoor imagery and nature photos since you first starting posting them.
Keep up the wonderful work!

Dear Pixie,
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with Doctor appointments….as long as it’s the right kind of “Dr.” and the right kind of appointment!
Trust me–I’m a qualified Spankologist….
Dr. Ken
P.S.–congratulations on the gallery showing. That’s awesome!

D – Yes, you’re first!
The playful spankings from my husband are never too far off. LOL. Don’t worry, I am doing well. It was just routine checkups and follow ups and overbooking on my part. Just because it’s a new calendar (insurance) year, no need to schedule everything at once, eh?
Indy – Thank you! I’m very excited.
Erica – Oh, that must have been one stingy supper!
The new spanker guy is Michael Diamond. He did a great job and was not only very skilled in dishing out discipline, but he really got into the various roles we had cast him in. He said he was going to write up a post on his experience in shooting with us. I’m excited to read it and as soon as he has it published, I’ll put up a link for you to check out too.
Linde – I think I know the chairs you mean. They really can be uncomfortable and catch your skin. The kind with the webbing may hurt more, but I dislike the kind with horizontal strips only even more as I have a tendency to fall right through them when I try to sit on them. Yeah, I am the very definition of graceful.
Biker – Thank you! No worries. All is ok.
JC – Thanks! No evening dress needed though. It’s on a bit of a smaller scale than that. Still very cool though as I never thought I’d be able to do something like this. Good dose of luck helped me out.
ddon – Up the spout!? No, can’t say that’s the case (yet anyway).
Poppa – Awww, thank you.
mudd – Thank you. You’re right that we are all our own worst critics and that does create a lot of fears. That is great that you are feeling the fear but moving forward despite it. Keep up the excellent work!
dani – I love to be busy and hate to be bored. I much prefer to be productive whenever possible, but that said, I am trying hard to find that balance and rest when needed. It’s a challenge.
AzSpanks – I’ve read that series that included the vivid descriptions of the Cornerstool. No need to get together and make me one though. I’ll be good forever and ever and ever to avoid that one!
tim – We got some very good scenes and I’m looking forward to sharing the content soon! My back is not too bad at the moment. I think doing yoga and trying not to sit crunched up at my desk for too long have both been helpful.
SueNY –
That’s Michael. It was great to shoot with him and we are hoping to have him back in very soon.
Jester – Oh goodness, thank you. Balance is key I think for everyone and yet a challenge for most.
Lorraine – Mischa is super adorable and Lorraine is wondeful as well. Both great girls. Can’t wait to put up her first scene with Michael.
Dave – Thank you! You have always been a great support and encouragement and reassurance is such a big help.
Dr. Ken – LOL!!!! I have to check my calendar … when is my appointment with the good doctor? That is one I don’t want to miss.
