I participated in the animal charity walk today. While it wasn’t an ideal day for an outdoor event, the turnout was fantastic.
With big dogs …
small dogs …
even hula dogs!
Of course that was the vanilla side of the charity event. The spanking side is currently scheduled to happen in a few days. Eeep! Lily Anna and I are enjoying sitting while we can.

Is that first dog a lurcher? I can’t tell from that angle but it looks like one.
Hope you had your brolly with you, it looks like it was a very wet day.

Pixie,
I love the Hula dog.
This seems to be a tough time of the year to stay caught up with one’s responsibilities since I seem to be going through the same thing you have in your last couple of posts in staying “focused”.
Hugs,
Linde

hi punkin,
great photo’s as usual. what a talent you have. we had rain here for a few hours very early but by noon i had washed a heavy quilt and it dried on the line by 5 pm.
i couldn’t care less about your “payment” and couldn’t care more about the orphans. this is a 5 week month between ss checks otherwise i’d try and buy back my spanks.
thinking of you always,
ddon

Our Church is going to have an afternoon service where you can bring your dog. (Not sure if there will be any other services – or just the one time) My wife says that discriminates against “Cats” or ‘other pets’.
Nice you got out there to walk the dogs.

Hi Pixie,
Sorry you got bad weather for the walk. I feel your pain. I had to spend 6 hours on the football field in the rain on Sat and then come home to towel off Molly, my brother’s German Shepard who I am pet sitting for 2 months.
Don’t you love eau de sodden canine? {grin}
I like the photos of the implements of doom, I mean spankage {grin}, but all the implements in the right picture look like wood. Is one the leather paddle?

Bit of a delurk here, but I just had to say that I love your photography. Both the Vanilla and non-Vanilla catergories are quite well done, you have quite a talent. Your current profile picture is very striking.
On an on-topic note, sorry to hear that the weather was poor. Hope you have better luck when its time for the Video of Doom, to borrow from Mark’s comment. Enjoy your sitting. lol
P.S. I think that the far right implement is the leather paddle, btw.

“If I could be a dog for a day,
I’d wag my tail as if to say,
it doesn’t matter if I’m old and gray,
I know dear Pixie would love me anyway!”

Oh I can relate to going to a charity event and the weather not cooperating. On Saturday we had a bike ride for various charities. I wanted to go 200 miles, but after 8 and a half hours of non-stop rain that just kept getting worse I said, “Forget this, 115 miles is enough.”
But hey, I am glad to see dedicated people working for events like yours and mine. Let nothing stop us!

Congratulations Pixie
You have done yourself proud I am so happy to see
you went over the two thousand mark this year.Next
year lets go for three thousand.

Congrats on doing so well for such a worthy cause. You should be proud. Looks like hula dog enjoys costumes like someone else I know.
As for the implements pictured….s-c-a-r-y!! Good luck.

Nice shots considering the weather! Gracie doesn’t care:” Border Collies don’t need a stinking rain coat!” Glad you’re doing cause for paws again this year. Take care; I’ll try to send you some images from California soon. – Eric

Prefectdt – It was very wet and chilly out. I got away with wearing a raincoat though and didn’t have to resort to an umbrella as I didn’t want to get in anyone’s way as we walked. We all looked like drowned rats by the end of the day anyway.
rtg – Thanks! We just shot it last night and I think it turned out well!
linde – Isn’t she cute? Sorry that you are still having a bit of a tough time.
ddon – no need for anyone to worry about buying back spanks. This is a charity that I’m very passionate about and I’m happy to do it. It was all in good fun and a great time as you’ll see in the vid!
Charlie – Poor kitties. No services and they weren’t invited for the charity walk either.
Mark – 6 hours? You must have been beyond soaked. The one on the far right is a leather paddle, but we ended up swapping it out for a different leather implement in the video so that it would look a little different.
Izon – Thank you! I am greatly enjoying being behind the camera. It is perhaps my favorite hobby.
We had a great time filming last night. It all went really well and I look forward to sharing it soon.
dani – aww thanks. very sweet!
tim – Thank you.
Schwarz – Wow!! 115 miles. That is incredible.
AK – I am so thankful to everyone that helped reach this amazing total. No matter what the end total is though, it’s always a pleasure to put forth the effort and donate whatever we can to the charity.
2Good – LOL! Yes, the dog must love any excuse to dress up just like I do.
Eric – There were a few pampered pooches in raincoats at the walk as well as one that road in a stroller while the toddler walked.
It was pretty funny.
