Change is never easy. At least not for me. And so even though getting more sleep and incorporating more leisure time and less stress into my daily life are positive goals that I am eager to achieve, I still find it challenging. It was great to have this short vacation though as it really kick started the plan and helps me feel like I’m starting fresh.
While on vacation, of course the bedtime rule was temporarily suspended, however, I have a couple of other related bad habits that I’ve added to the list.
No hopping into bed with the laptop and playing online until I fall asleep on the keys – that could cause a short as I drool anyway!
And no sleeping with my iPhone and having a quick middle of the night peek.
So while those are some new areas I’d like to work on improving, there is still the price to pay for (repeatedly) missing my new bedtime goal.

Hi Pixie,
Yes … if you get to bed on time (get the necessary sleep), then you will be more alert to use your laptop or iPhone during the day – plus no “warm” reminders will be needed.

Such a mischievous little girl
In regards to the top picture, I’m so glad that I have Ctrl + G
I love this post. These are the reasons I think that makes me like you so much

C’mon Pixie, be a good girl and get to bed on time–if you don’t, you’re gonna get it.
In fact, you may need a little stricter discipline on this, since we are not seeing any improvement. Straighten up, young lady, or those panties are coming down.

Pixie,
It’s not your fault!! If your hubby was doing his husbandly duty you wouldn’t have as much trouble as you’re having. Since you and he just got back from a short vacation, there is no reason he could not have spent the time reinforcing the change in habits that you (and I lol) need so much in our lives. I’m going to tell Adam and Jack how much they have let me down lately and I hope you tell your husband also.
I think it is time we put the blame where it deserves!! I don’t think either one of us has refused to bend over when told to do so .. lol
Glad you’re back safely!!
Linde
P.S. let me know if you tell your hubby that it’s his fault!! LOL

Reading with the flashlight again, young lady? This reminds me of me reading to my teddy bear friends late at night.
There’s always room in my life for your childlike qualities! You’re nice.
By the way, I just saw your new profile picture..very interesting!

Dear Pixie,
That’s a very apt title for this post, since the “learning” you need to do can be rather hard on a well-curved portion of your anatomy.
And isn’t it nice to have a partner that is so willing to help you achieve your goals? I wish I had someone to help!

Hello Pixie Sweetie,
Excuse me for straying of topic into a total vanilla subject but your laptop looks very similar to mine a Dell Inspiron 1525 is that correct?
Honestly speaking im a total internet junkie but with so many many forums and sites online its hard for us with the interest to resist!
Of course seeing pics and reading stories of your lovely little bottom warmings are a great treat.
Take care
John

You can ask Sarah how well getting into the bed with a laptop goes over with me! hehehe
September 24th, 2009 - 9:28 pm
Hey pixie – these are good goals. It’s ok to give yourself a break once in a while. I myself am one to occasionally refresh facebook for hours on end if I have a project that needs doing, but ultimately the way to reduce stress is to get those things out of the way so you have time to kick back and relax!
Hope this change goes smoothly for you – and your behind!

Weird question time, is it possible to spanked with a laptop? Possibly a bit expensive and how could you explain that to an insurance company?
Lovely piccies.

Love your new profile photo. Who tied your wrists? Good work!
September 25th, 2009 - 7:26 pm
Oh yeah and this just occured to me. Spankings are great stress relievers! Go ahead and be bad. Get the nice spanking and sleep like a baby.

Stuff like this can be tough on both the discipliner and disciplinee because while you really want to make the change, it’s not an overnight change. Exceptions have to be made for the challenges that come with adjusting your entire body clock onto something more healthy.

Drool is cool!

Glad you enjoyed your vacation! Good luck with the continuing challenge of sticking to your bedtime rules. I wonder if its possible to use the “parental controls” feature on the computer to shut it down at a certain time of night until morning? I once accidently did that to my digital cable box and it took me forever to figure out how to undo it!
September 27th, 2009 - 12:03 am
Everybody loves you, even when you are bad. How the Hell do you do that? Are you a thaumaturge? My envy is envious….
To get to bed, it helps me to imagine I’m escaping a space ship that is infected with a killer alien with acid for blood, and the bed is, in fact, a cryogenic chamber in an escape pod. Though Dr. Phil refuses to answer my letters, my method works every time.
Every. Time.

Pixie .
very adorable bottom and you are very pretty

I know some spankos scoff at the idea of it being used as effective discipline, but I think what you’re doing is something that can really help you improve what you want to improve but are having difficulty with otherwise. It doesn’t have to be 100% effective all the time to make a positive difference, and you can work towards developing new habits and ways of dealing with the problems. And an occasional spanking, if needed, isn’t the worst thing that could happen.
Thanks, Pixie, and love the pics, as always.

Charlie – Good point! I always feel so much better and more productive after a good night’s sleep.
Richard – Mischievous? Who me?
Thanks pup. Your comment made my day.
Alex – I’ve been having a few slip ups, but I’m making improvements. Heated motivation really works.
Linde – He says he is trying his best to be strict but fair but will happily “redouble” the effort. Ugh! Thanks!
tim – Thanks. I had been spanked, but a little bit of time passed before the photo. Still, my unspanked bottom is not usually that pink!
ddon – Thanks. I’m hoping to arrange to shoot some more photos for the galleries soon. In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying practicing with nature photos.
dani – Yes, I think checking my phone under the covers is the new digital version of reading under the covers with a flashlight.
Dr. Ken – It is greatly appreciated that I have someone that is supportive in so many ways. I hope that the good doctor will be able to assist a naughty bottom in need soon.
Johnboy – Vanilla subjects are always welcomed too. Yes, my laptop is a Dell. It was one of the few manufacturers that still offered models with the XP option. I can’t stand Vista which caused a zillion compatibility issues for me. I’m not sure what I’ll do when it comes time to upgrade yet again, but I have a little while to worry about that yet.
Clare – LOL!! I’m thinking that doesn’t fly!
Kev – Yup, a good balance and not procrastinating about the stuff I dread is a good way to enjoy more fun time.
Phil – I think that would make for a very costly implement! Laptops don’t like impact much. Although I was never spanked with one, I did smack one with a cordless phone once in a bad moment of frustration. The phone survived, the laptop did not.
Chelsea – Thanks! I wrapped my own wrists. I couldn’t tie them since I was by myself and also trying to take the pic. Although I know it’s hard to see especially in the smaller version, but I used a measuring tape to bind my wrists in a way of expressing how I was feeling that day.
Marie – It is a fine line, isn’t it? He doesn’t want to feel like he’s telling me what to do, but with things like this, I need a little extra help. It’s going pretty well now.
Not perfect, but better.
Tony – Ick!
TigerLily – Oh no! I’d have been on the phone begging the cable company to help within a day.
Pallidbust – I had to look that one up, but that’s very sweet of you!
As for your active imagination technique, I’m not sure I’d ever get out of bed. LOL. I mean between the monsters under my bed and in the closet and now acidic killer aliens just around the corner, there’s no place that’s safe except under the covers (with my iphone).
crystal – Thank you!
dana – Yes, I know for some spankings are only a fun and pleasurable activity, but while I definitely find them to be something that can be enjoyable, they can be effective disicpline too. It’s all in the tone and intent.
tim – So glad you like it!

Ohh the trap of taking the phone to bed with you… Dangerous! It makes me stressed to have my phone nearby when I’m trying to sleep.
I always feel better when I get a chance to get away from my computer and my phone for a few hours, even if it is just at bedtime. There’s something about knowing that if the phone were to go off with a text message, it wouldn’t wake me up, that makes me sleep much more soundly.
However, I have a strange relationship with technology in the vicinity of my bedroom, and if I never had to set an alarm clock, I’d wake up on time and well-rested. Instead, I wake up every couple of hours to make sure the darn thing is still set to go off…
Best of luck with your goals – and thanks for the warm welcome!
