I’ve been sewing up a storm lately. After receiving a sewing machine for Christmas, my inner domestic brat has been unleashed. I brushed up on my seventh grade home ec skills by making some curtains and pillows, but then I decided it was time to overcome my fear of zippers and curved seams and try to make clothing.
I’ve made three skirts in as many days. While I probably don’t need to add any more skirts to my already bulging closet, they will no doubt come in handy a lot more than double sets of curtains and a ton of throw pillows.
Now that I’m feeling more confident with needle and thread, pleats and darts, I’m planning to pick up a few yards of different school plaid fabrics I’ve been eyeing at the craft shop and try sewing my own uniforms. I will be in plaid heaven with endless variations of pleated skirts and darling jumpers to make. While I’m certainly no seamstress, it’s a lot of fun to do and if I come away with something cute to wear, then all the better!
But no matter how many cute buttons and ribbons you add, no outfit is complete without a red bottom to accesorize.

Pixie,
I’ve fallen in love with your new profile picture–sort of a farm girl sweetie.
Many congratulations on your sewing abilities. Wonderful. It’s actually not surprising..that’s what creative people do–they create.
Many thanks!

Ah a seamstress…reminds me back when I had time to sew…those were the days. Though I wasn’t near as good as you. I just made pillows and pillow covers…very simple.
Anyways, great new profile pic and best of luck with your sewing! It is a wonderful thing to get into.

Hmmmm… I think it is good that I do not know how to sew. My plaidiction wouldn’t be able to handle it!
Have fun with your creations!

Very pretty Pixie. We had a discussion recently on a spanking website about curtseying and how it’s become rare but very hot when a girl does it.I could easily see you do one in these skirts. Lovely
January 22nd, 2009 - 10:45 pm
Pixie, that outfit makes access to your bottom a lot easier. Keep sewing and looking cute.
January 22nd, 2009 - 11:47 pm
Oh I love the black skirt with the little butterflies and flowers! It’s so cute,I want to try it on. You are very talented! I enjoy sewing things like curtains and matching lamp-shade covers and pillows; but I would NEVER have the patience to sew pleats and zippers! The only “skirt” I’ve ever sewn was a tree skirt for a friend’s Christmas tree!

Hi Pixie,
By making your own jumpers, etc – if a seam were to break during a shoot you wouldn’t worry about having ruined an outfit. Just sew it up again.
It is a useful hobby.

Dear Pixie,
Amazing. I’m rubbish with a needle and thread, so I’m very impressed with your handiwork.
And, as always, I’m very impressed with your, uh, “accesories”…
Dr. Ken

Kudos, Pixie. You truly are multi-talented: seamstress, photographer, spanking model, website guru. The picture is fantastic, as usual. How did you know the butterfly skirt was my favorite of your three creations?
It looks so fetching turned up around your hips to expose the crimsoned charms of your exquisite bottom.
January 23rd, 2009 - 5:23 pm
You have more talent than any body I know. I wish
I had half the talent you have.
Every one have a good day Bye Bye
January 23rd, 2009 - 8:43 pm
Great work Pixie. I find it difficult enough sewing on buttons so that they are secure! Your skirts are FAR superior -and just as a sideline to everything else. Go ahead – purchase the tartans, and make some gorgeous school-girl skirts. For the short time they are in position as skirts before being flipped up to rfeveal panties, they serve an important function of anticipation.
Now, how about truning you creative genius to panties….?
January 24th, 2009 - 1:47 am
You are ‘sew’ cool!
January 24th, 2009 - 2:56 am
Well done. Looks like you are both having fun and being good at what you do. Not surprising from what we’ve seen of you.
Love the newest profile shot…I’ve gotta thing for ladies in overalls. Any chance of a paddling in (and out) of them?
January 24th, 2009 - 3:30 am
Handy crafts are a much underrated entity these days, love the skirts. can’t wait to see how your plaid creations turn out.

January 24th, 2009 - 9:29 am
Oops, sorry ladies. I thought I was on a spanking website. I seem to have stumbled into a sewing bee. [rolleyes]
January 24th, 2009 - 11:52 am
The skirts are beautiful and even cuter on you! You certainly are talented in oh so many ways and all of us notice your mad skills. I know one thing Pixie is NOT good at. She’s not good at eating her green beans! Bad Pixie!
When you buy your fabric at the store and go for the plaid variety, when paying for it you may be asked what you are making…they almost always ask.
I know you won’t say, “I’m making naughty schoolgirl uniforms to be spanked in actually!” Hehe!
January 24th, 2009 - 2:44 pm
dani – The country girl dress is one of my favorite costumes.
Schwarz – It’s good to have many diverse interests and in this case there is the good possibility of crossover as I sew up a schoolgirl skirt to get spanked in and a soft pillow to sit on afterwards!!
justme – Thank you! Yes, that’s Peanut’s little orange tail. She is incredibly “helpful” as I try to sew – chews on the patterns and makes off with the bobbins.
Warren – Just need to get a chance to make it over to the fabric shop and perhaps I can begin working on a custom line of PB school uniforms for all of our bratty girls.
Kat – Feed that plaiddiction!! Still think we need to meet for a plaid shopping day. Mmmm.
007 – Curtseying is a very rare thing these days outside of dance perhaps. Much more likely to shake hands or just say “hey, wuz up”. But then you don’t need a skirt for that.
Tom – I’ll definitely keep sewing! I have a few more projects already underway. It’s fun to make my own skirts with spanking needs in mind.
TigerLily – Lamp shade covers sound tricky to me! The pleats are a pain, but I love them so much I’m willing to deal. I love pleats as much as plaid. And combine the two and I’m in heaven.
Larry – I definitely will use them in a shoot.
As for the switch, I may very well need to go out and find my own. In fact, I may cut it and bring it with me to the shoot. I’m not sure how many ideal whippy switches grow in the rather urban area we shoot in. Certainly plenty out here in the “sticks” where I live.
lil sam – Thank you! I hope to have many more outfits to wear and use in the future too.
RTG – You know, I haven’t had a nice set of stripes in a while. Plenty of red, but not confined to lines. Have to see what I can do about that.
I hear that stripes are in this year for fashion afterall.
Charlie – Yes, these skills will definitely come in handy. In fact I was recently lamenting about the fact that I managed to destroy the zipper on my German beer maid costume from this Halloween right after taking the photos. Testament to my graceful nature, I tripped getting out of the dress, split the zipper, and sent the pull flying into the heating vent. Now I know I can simply swap it out and not have to waste a perfectly good outfit.
Chloe – Come on up and we’ll sew a ton of uniforms!! Or at least send me your measurements and I’ll make you a skirt.
Seriously!
Tim – Yep, I sure did get tanned. Scorched even. I’m very eager to share the content of Amanda and Tina with you soon. Just a couple more weeks and it will be ready to go. Be sure to check out this week’s interviews with the pretty brats.
Dr. Ken – A splash of color can always perk an outfit up.
harry – All of those pleats I sewed in helped it fan out and stay in place up around my hips. Perfect spanking skirt!
Ed – Awww you are too sweet. I just have a lot of hobbies.
Winchester – I am definitely going to be making some schoolgirl skirts. Can’t wait. But I think I’ll leave the panties to store-bought. I would think it would be tricky to sew a good pair.
Jan – Hahaha! Cute!
JC – I don’t actually have any overalls. I’m so much more of a dress/skirt girl that I’d be more likely to wear a denim jumper than overalls.
Prefectdt – Endless plaid possibilities.
Sarah – I have no doubt that you could sew lots of fun stuff too. You are such a creative person that I’m sure it would be a snap for you.
Tim – The girls fuss a lot!! Amanda has the best whimper and whine and Tina struggles and squirms with the best of them.
Redchief – This isn’t just a spanking site though, it’s my blog and I enjoy sharing about my varied interests – spanking included. I almost always (this post being an example of such) tie it back into spanking even when it’s a vanilla entry though.
2Good – I fully admit I’m deficient in my green bean eating skills. Ugh! I hope I stay that way.
I also hope they don’t get too nosey at the fabric shop. I guess it would raise a few eyebrows to buy 10 yards of school plaid though!
January 25th, 2009 - 3:49 am
Dear Pixie,
A splash of color–especially when it’s applied to the right place–can perk just about anybody up!

Ahh….not overalls, just a cute country girl outfit. I see.
Main point was “nice shot of you” anyhow

Thats funny, I too have started sewing up a storm. (I am a beginner but I am having so much fun!) I started it to make clothes for my friends daughter whom I help take care of. But lately I have been trying some stuff out of my own!
I made a pair of Adult Footed Dropseat Pajamas, They were good but I made one huge mistake and had to scrap the whole thing 13 hours of work gone! Oh well its expirence.
Now I am just going to buy a pair from Jumpinjammerz. They dont have a cow pattern though
