Another question I’m often asked is how I got started in the spanking industry. How does a shy, quiet girl end up doing spanking modeling?
I thought I had posted about it once before, but in looking back in the archives, I can’t find an entry where I directly answer the question. At the risk of repeating myself and boring you all, I’ll share how I got my start. I’ll try to keep it brief!
I’ve had a lifelong fascination with spanking. As far back as I can remember, I always got a little thrill when accidentally stumbling across a spanking reference in a book or on TV, and delighted in imagining myself as the naughty miscreant in those scenarios. Years later, when I discovered there was such a thing as adult consensual spanking online one night, it was as if a new world opened up. I soon became an active member of a couple of forums and even had the pleasure of making several real life friends to engage in bratting and spanking play with. I enjoyed being spanked in real life every bit as much as I had imagined and my fascination with the subject only grew the more I played.
I had explored some of the spanking membership websites and saw that a few were seeking new models. The opportunity was intriguing. I knew I loved to be spanked and I had been seeking a way of earning a little extra money to help pay off some hefty hospital bills I’d accrued. I hemmed and hawed for a while though. Would they reject me? Would anyone want to see me get spanked? Was I good enough? Would I be safe (not just spanking-wise, but could I be chopped up and left in the woods)?
I finally tentatively applied to two companies I admired greatly and discussed the possibility of shooting. But the costs of travel (which would in one case well exceed the modeling fee) and some lingering fears about something happening while so far from home kept me from pursuing the opportunities.
I was very disappointed but at the same time further motivated as I hadn’t been rejected. I continued on in my search for someone to shoot with that might be a little closer to where I lived. Companies near Cowtown seemed to be hard to come by though. I posted on one of the forums that I was looking for a company in my area and a couple of members suggested I get in touch with David Pierson for referrals.
Luck must have been on my side as David had recently decided to try filming his own content, was looking for someone to shoot with, and was located only a few hours’ drive away from me. The rest, as they say, is history.

HUGS a fine origin story Pixie. I’m sorry you incurred all that debt from medical issues but I hope those debts and more importantly the issues themselves are both distant memories. So you did your first SL video in Feb 2006 with Heirs to Misfortune (for which I will always be grateful
) How many different companies have you worked for?

Pixie I was surprised when I opened a personal ad on another web site of how many ladies wanted to be spanked. A lot of them wrote me but they didn’t come forward, I guess my age 63 scared them off. Keep writing those blogs I can relate to. Tom

Great story!
It is always nice to hear how people got into spanking. Reminds me of the interviews that Veronica Daniels had on her site of the girls and their reasons for liking spankings.
As for those spanking community sites I have thought about it, but being shy and unattractive stops me from going through with it. Oh well, since you seem game to answering questions I am just curious, how did you find a husband that doesn’t mind his wife being filmed and spanked for all to see?

Cowtown, huh? How many people know that Cowtown is the site of the only world-class rodeo in the northeast? And that all the rodeo stars of the world perform there, in [[[New Jersey]]] which seems the least likely place in the world.

I have met several women on line who told of the same early interest in spanking (though none of them went on to become spanking models)…
and I’ve often wondered why that happens to some, but not to all.
Just for the record, I know you did do work for other spanking sites from time to time, so did eventually you find a few who would film nearer your home?

Thanks for sharing how you got your “start” in the film buisness. I have found that when were young, we ALL shared the same fascination with finding various spankings that occur in books, photos and films. I once had a friend who stayed with me while her apartment was being remodeled and she was looking over my video collection with “McClintock, Donovan’s Reef and several others and she smiled and asked if she could watch a few. When I told her to pick out whatever she wanted while I fixed diner, she pulled every “special” movie I had off the shelf and was watching “McClintock” when I returned. Our friendship changed dramaticlally that day and sadly, she moved away and ended up doing modeling and films in a story simular to yours. I only know her REAL name so I can’t post it and she married and is no longer doing anything public …. but it was great hearing your story. Thanks!!!
Oh, one question. At what age do you think a spanking model loses her “MASS” appeal to an audience? I ask because I’m still wondering (blush) if I’m “over the hill” as I approach 30.

I echo Tim’s comments about today’s Pixie’s Preview. In response to the Bloh, all I can add is that however it all started, there are many who will wish to be thankful!
As for the “stumbling across” spanking references in childhood books and comics, I can hear a whole host of folk saying “nbeen there - done that”. And of course the writers must have had that in mind when they wrote. One wonders whether some were expressing themselves that way because there was no other open to them.

Great entry, Pix — I’d love to see it as a Marvel Comics-style “origin story” (perhaps embellished just a tiny bit): Shy office girl, walking in the woods one day, finds an enchanted paddle in an old woodshed, and with one mighty, magical SWAT is transformed into Pixie, the Spanking Superstar!
I’ll never forget that moment of discovery for me: Sometime in the mid-90’s … my girlfriend (now wife) and I had bought our first PC together … we had the internet up and running for a matter of hours, and I thought, “Hey, I wonder….” and tentatively typed “spanking” into whatever the web browser was at the time. Life — in terms of both how I spend my time on the com, and how I view and accept myself and this crazy little interest we share — would never be the same.
I generally wouldn’t consider the crime of asking a really silly question to be a spankable offense, but I just might have to make an exception in the case of, “Would anyone care to see Amber Pixie Wells spanked?” FAR too silly to escape without some (fun and loving) punishment, my friend!

As for future topics, how about something related to dialogue? What are the best as well as typical lines spankees and tops use in a scene? Which ones leave a spankee quaking in her boots? What kind of words push the buttons of a top and make someone watching the scene say, “Oh, she did NOT just say that!!” 2Good

It’s been said that it’s not so much the things we do in life that we come to regret, but the things that we *don’t* do. I, for one, am glad that you persevered until you found the right fit, and that David recognized that unique and special something which makes you far more than “just” a spanking model. The spanking world - and far beyond - would be a colder more colorless place without you.
