Panty time! I surprise even myself with how much I can ramble on about these tiny pieces of intimate apparel, but here goes another post on the topic.
I crave order and organization and often sort things into groups, if not physically, then at least into categories in my mind. Panties are no exception. When I got dressed this morning, I found myself sorting my panty choices into the categories of cute, sexy, or plain.
I think of “cute” as any panty that has a girlish pattern, writing, or a graphic on it.
Sexy panties are more grown up. A bit of lace or sheer perhaps.
Plain are well, just that. Plain. Not necessarily boring, but simple, solid colors without a lot of ruffles or lace. When doing shoots, I often select these for schoolgirl scenes as they are what I envision as being close to regulation.
There is always going to be some overlap. For example, what if a sexy, satiny, red pair of panties has the word “naughty” written on the backside. Would they be in the cute category or sexy still? And it’s only my opinion that plain is a category unto itself as I’ve received feedback strongly stating that THE sexiest undergarments are plain white cotton schoolgirl-style panties.
When selecting my panties for a scene or just everyday wear, mood plays a big part of it. Am I feeling particularly girly and playful? Then I’ll probably favor “cute”. Getting dressed up for a fancy night out (or in!)? Then sexy is the way to go. Even if no one else is likely to see my panty choice, I’m not going to choose to wear Hello Kitty panties under my formal dress. And as for plain, I suppose they’re for days when I’m feeling neutral or for times when I’m playing the role of semi-obedient schoolgirl.
What’s your favorite style of panties – either to wear or see others wear? Does it depend on your mood, personality, the chosen outerwear, the setting? If my categories don’t match up with yours, feel free to add your own. As I said, there’s sure to be a lot of overlap and plenty of categories beyond those that I have developed in my warped little noggin.

As a top, “cute” panties are nice but are kind of a red flag to a very hungry bull. “Cute” panties just kinda encourage harder spanks. Plain ones are actually preferrable since they instill a traditional frame of mind for both spanker and spankee. Always nice to see those

Gotta go with “cute” on this one. My girl has lots of them…different phrases for different moods, and lil flowery ones that are just..well…cute. If you’re like me, any girl’s bottom is sexy just because it’s a girl’s bottom…so all panties are sexy.

As an interested observer, my preference is for panties with the least amount of fabric in them. I can’t imagine a schoolgirl looking sexier in granny panties than in a thong. Here we have frequent parades through the streets, it’s something Filipinos love and they usually feature minimally dressed schoolgirls aged 5 – 18, sometimes their mothers dress them in thong panties and skirts that barely cover their buttocks and leave nothing to the imagination when they bend over.

I know you already know this about me, but for the benefit of other readers I would say that cute panties have my vote for being the most appealing!
I think that self-image is always more significant than the reality that others may see. My self-image is of a “sweet 16″ girl, a delicate and lovely flower who is just beginning to recognize the little joys of cute things.
Cute panties don’t demonstrate overt sexuality, much to my relief. My self-expression connects sexy with innocence, and innocence with being just a nice person. Very simple. I’m very much a cotton candy person.
If I’m doing corner time, I’d want the added excitement of being told to raise my skirt. This way my cute bf (and his buddies) could witness my little pink preferences.

I’d agree that panty preference varies according to a multitude of factors such as opinion, occasion and mood, but that they all look great! (As your pictures undoubtedly prove)

I definitely prefer plain panties that accentuate the form of the buttocks, especially when they are shiny. I can’t see the advantage of the little garments that dissappear completely into the cleft between the buttocks. If panties are reduced to the point of invisibility you could as well leave them out from the beginning.
But of course I know that there is nothing rational about such preferences. You can state them, not explain them. At least I can’t! Anyhow I hope that ‘Punished Brats’ will continue to show panty-clad bottoms in their films.

I like all panties but especially the ones you call “plain”. Down south there is a phenomenon that I don’t see so much elsewhere: cheap Wal-Mart panties under a slutty outfit. I sometimes see women dressed in torn cut-off jeans, tank tops, etc., with a pair of cotton Hanes Her Ways hanging out. As if to say: I’m so hot to trot that even in plain underwear you’ll notice me. I actually find this sexier than when the short shorts reveal a whale tail and tramp stamp.

The two ladies who are in my life and whose backsides I chastise wear, between them, panties or knickers from all three categories. Like others, because I am fond of ladies’ bottoms I am also fond of knickers…….whatever kind they might be! But I must say that I do find plain knickers both attractive and sexy……..both of my ladies wear plain white or black cotton knickers from time to time and it is always a delight to lift up their skirts and find their nether curves encased in tightly-stretched black or white underwear.

Plain please – white if possible: but in the end it must be what the spankee is most comfortably at hoe wearing. For me, I don’t like thongs and I am not keen on black! Skimpy lace looks ok especially if they are going to stay up: there is no point in emoving garments that provide no protection!

Angel and I had a “discussion” when he found out that I didn’t wear panties under my sweat pants when I went jogging. I told him there was no sense in having to throw a pair in the laundry after only an hour and the sweat pants soaked up the moisture okay. I was told that “I had better have regulation (cotton) panties when I went jogging the next time.” When I got back from jogging the next time he was waiting for me (he always is… lol) and he asked me if I had the correct panties. I told him “Of course I have panties”. He asked to see them and I knew he expected me to pull down my sweats and show him but I just pulled them out of my fanny pack and handed them to him (trying hard not to smile …lol).
Even though I did EXACTLY what I was told … well, you’d never believe it LOL. WE had another discussion!!!
Guys need to be more detailed in what they want from us. Don’t you agree, Pixie?

Winchester – Yes, the coverage issue is the primary reason we do our best to refrain from having the girls wear thongs in scenes (unless it is actually a focal point of the storyline). You don’t really need to take them down to get to the spanking target, but is it really a bare bottom spanking if the thong stays up? So we simply sidestep that issue altogether by sticking to bikini cut panties even in straight to the bare scenes.

Ok I’m a teensy bit obsessive. I have an entire dresser that is nothing but panties. Separated in the drawers by color. White, pink, red, and black each have a separate drawer. The others like blue, green, purple, and plaid or whatever just go in the other drawers together. I am thinking though that I want to separate out the ones with words on them like “spank me” or “naughty” or whatever into their own drawer.
Most of the time I wear scrubs to work in several bright colors. I tend to match my panties to whatever color scrubs I have on that day. My husband will walk by as I’m in my underwear and say “oh, I see you’ll be wearing purple scrubs today” lol. Mostly these fall in to the “plain” category I suppose. I get a little too excited about wearing my pink scrubs though, because I have enough things to wear all pink… scrubs, panties, bra, camisole or undershirt, pink barrettes, socks with pink toes/heels and shoes with pink on them. Oh and my watch has pink on it. I’m lame.
Most of mine are either cute or plain. I have a few that would be considered “sexy” I suppose but I rarely wear them, usually only if I’m dressing up. I’m just not as comfortable trying to be sexy I think. I have a few thongs, like maybe 4 or so, but almost never wear those. I just don’t have the kind of butt a thong looks good on. Usually those just came with a set of something, or I have a pair I wear under certain white clothes to avoid panties showing through.

On the subject of “panties” I thoroughly enjoy two types I’ve seen Pixie wearing, and on occasion other young ladies in the vids:
one definitely are the “sheer” type (regardless of color), so sheer that the bottom is clearly visible; and two, the “fun” panties with a word or phrase printed on the backside.
I came across a pic of Pixie wearing a pair of panties with SPOILED in big letters across the rear. Great. Love them.
