Thank you so much to everyone for your kind wishes and congratulations! We had an absolutely lovely wedding day. We really lucked out with the weather and were able to have the perfect outdoor ceremony we’d been hoping for. The celebration with family and friends (vanilla and non-vanilla alike) kicked into high gear that afternoon and carried on well into the wee hours of the morning. Today is the first day that I finally feel rested up and relaxed after the adrenaline rush and hours upon hours of dancing.
We haven’t left for our honeymoon yet, but the last couple of days were still a whirlwind of activity as I had family not only from out of state, but from out of the country here in town for the wedding and a subsequent visit. ’Hubby’ and I will be leaving for a short honeymoon at a charming bed and breakfast this Saturday. I’ll be without an internet connection (eeeep!!!) until we return home on Tuesday so PB updates will go up in advance and I won’t be able to post or email until I get back. We are planning to go on a longer honeymoon in a warm, sunny vacation spot in late winter / early spring when it’s gray and cold here at home. I’ll probably be without internet again then, but there’s plenty of time to worry about that later.
To continue answering some of the questions left in the comments from my announcement post, yes, this was the first time that our families and vanilla friends met some of our spanko friends. Nothing was revealed about our spanking interests or my job to any of the vanillas not already in the know. We simply introduced them as good friends and when asked how we met, I said through work. Not even a fib there!
I was not spanked at the altar. We went with the traditional ‘kiss the bride’. However, there were a few smacks given and received on the dance floor by various guests at the after party back at the hotel. I know there were pictures being taken, but I’m pretty sure that it was a vanilla guest that was taking the photos. LOL. I was also given a few swats with a large bolster pillow by the groom when we went up to our bridal suite. Not a true spanking, but just a couple of playful pillow swats before we both collapsed on the bed from all of the excitement and activity of the day.
I know that my announcement of getting married was a surprise to many, but that was the point! We had been engaged for 10 months prior to the wedding but wanted to wait until the big day to make the announcement. It wasn’t easy keeping the secret especially as the date grew closer. I of course had to share with some of my closest friends and swear them to secrecy as well, but it seems like we all did a good job of keeping things under wraps.
Being married will not affect my posting here so no worries. I will still keep up my blog as usual, continue filming scenes, get spanked just for fun, and frolic in the woods pixie-style. In fact, Sarah Gregory and I will have some photos to share of our woodland adventures during her visit soon. I just need to get a chance to sit and edit them.
And lastly, Richard, I think I’ve learned my lesson about agreeing to a spank per comment! At least for now.
Thank you once again to all for the good wishes! It’s wonderful to have such wonderfully supportive friends like you to share the happy news with.

Perhaps it is good that you are out of range of an internet connection for a while, it is the only way that you can get away from work. I hope you two have a honeymoon to remember

What a delightful and generous post! I am so glad the whole event was such a joy to you, your family and your friends. Enjoy your first honeymoon – and the sunny one later! These are times for being there just for each other – so absolutely no laptops!
It is weird that, although you had said nothing, I had wondered whether getting hitched was the reason you were not at Shadow Lane this year….I must have had sone intuition that things were imminent.
God bless you both.

I was right. Pixie Does indeed make a gorgeous bride!
Pixie I hope you and your new Better Half have a fun and fantastic honeymoon!
It’s good that you’ll be without internet connection for a few days. You’ll have more fun concentrating on the joyous new life you two now have together.
It will be fun to know what kind of mischief you got into on the honeymoon when you get back.
Congrats to both of you!!

Excuuuuuuuse me, Razor… whaddaya mean, her BETTER half? Hummmppph.
Pixie, you really do look like a fairy princess in your wedding dress. Have a wonderful time at the B&B, and forget about the Internet — it’ll be there when you come home, and so will we. For those few days, the rest of the world doesn’t exist.
October 22nd, 2008 - 2:03 am
I’m not the type to commiserate, so I wont try (you do look damn good in that dress, I’ll admit). I deal with matters practical or anything I think is funny. Here, I see meat for both.
Be sure to complement your hubby a lot. On how strong and competent he is. Be sincere (that is critical), but do it often enough that he doesn’t feel the need for it. Men are more easily managed when they think they are in control. You strong arm him, he’ll resist to the death. You let him know how much his opinion and skills matter, and praise his fidelity to honor, he’ll do whatever you ask. I don’t know your man, but statistically, the safe bet is that he wants to be appreciated for being all that is man.
Men are not complicated creatures. “Your bicep is so strong I feel like a helpless little girl in you arms, but I also feel safe, despite your native animal ferocity. Even though you hate Chinese food, can we, pretty please, go to Chang’s tonight?”
“Of course, baby. I love Changs, even though I hate Chinese food.”
And thus follows harmony. All is well.

Another beautiful photo of a beautiful bride on her special day! Enjoy the short honeymoon, Pixie, and I agree with Erica–put the internet on hold for a while, and just enjoy this very special time in your life. We’ll still be here when you get back and dust off your computer….
Love and best wishes,
Dr. Ken

I think it’s a great idea to wait until the colder weather before you go on your ‘real’ honeymoon. In any case, I’m sure you and Mr Wells will find plenty of ways of keeping warm.
(I’d like to e-mail you about something, but I’ll wait until you’re back from your weekend break.)

Prefectdt – I will definitely enjoy getting away from it all for a little bit. Hopefully there won’t be any major issues, David can handle any urgent customer service matters, and I can stop being a worrywart and just relax for a few days.
hairbrushman – Very sorry for your loss, hairbrushman. Thank you for the good wishes. I am very excited to begin this new chapter of my life with the guy that not only warms my heart but warms my bottom too!
Winchester – It was a fantastic day. And I promise that my laptop will only be used to download the photos we take on our vacation adventures.
And you’re correct about the SL party this year. It conflicted with the original date of my bridal shower (which then got bumped a week in the end). The shower was supposed to be a surprise, but I’m glad my MOH told me as it would have been a huge surprise to everyone if I had been in Vegas at the time!
Razor – Thank you Razor! My better half thanks you too.
There is sure to be mischief and adventures on our honeymoon. We have lots planned and there is always trouble to be found.
Brian – Thanks. The Mr. and I are really looking forward to our time together. And yes, I think if I tried to sneak online, my laptop would end up at the bottom of the lake.
CurtisG – Thank you.
I’m hoping for a few warm nights too.
Kate – You never know what you might find when you stop by, eh? Thank you for your kind wishes!
007 – Of course bubblegum from a friend is always welcome. So sweet of you.
prajnaparamita – I think I’m the lucky one. And we are both very happy.
Erica – Oh thank you. And that is very good advice. I’ll be sure to make the most of the next few days.
Pallidbust – I promise to give lots of praise and compliments … especially if it resultes in having Chinese food. Mmmm. Seriously though, thank you for your wise words!
tim – Thank you. No worries, PB and my blog postings will continue on as usual. The only difference is I don’t have to kick myself if I forget to take my ring off before snapping a pic.
dani – yes, this was the ultimate in playing dress up, except that it was all for real. A true fairytale of a day.
Dr. Ken – Thank you! I’m glad you’ll be here when I return. Hopefully I’ll have some spanking adventures to share along with all of the vanilla fun as of late.
Laurent – Merci, Laurent.
Clare – thank you! Miss you and hope to see you soon.
Amy – Oh thank you for sharing in our joy.
I’m now sitting grinning back at you. ((((hugs)))))
Steve (UK) – Yes, it will be extra lovely to get away when it’s winter espcially since it’s supposed to be a very cold one. As for this weekend, I think there will be plenty of ways to stay warm …
Pat & Jess – Thank you!
John – Oh goodness. I don’t think I can promise to be that good! And what fun would life be without a little mischief. >:)
Todd & Suzy – Thank you. I hope we can chat soon now that the dust is settling.

Beautifull People – This is most important moment on your life.

November 19th, 2008 - 6:24 pm
Hi Pixie:
In this posting, you refer to family and friends, vanilla and non-vanilla. Do your vanilla family and friends know about your non-vanilla family and friends? Do your vanilla family and friends know about your non-vanilla self?
Take care, and, be well, luv. I’m on my way to buy some strawberry, blue blowout and bursts original Bubblicious bubble-gum.

No, my vanilla family does not know about my non-vanilla side, but some of my vanilla friends do. My closest vanilla friends know all about it, read my blog, have met some of my spanky friends even before the wedding, and are all very cool, supportive, and understanding.
Mmmmmm … sweet bubbly goodness!!
