If the beautiful weather holds for the next couple of days (despite the gloom the weather channel is predicting), I might be lucky enough to have a friend join me in the forest for a few fall frolic photos. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, I guess I’ll have to see how adventurous we feel and if we’re up for braving the elements anyway. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and will be sure to have warm fluffy towels and plenty of hot chocolate on standby for Thursday.
Until then, I’ll just be hangin’ around.

I always enjoy your pictures, Pixie, but for some reason, I particularly like these two. You are as lovely as always, of course, but it’s the whole composition that I enjoy. Perhaps it’s that, being a California boy, I don’t get to see the fall colors very often, and seeing them coupled with you is just rather enjoyable.

I HAVE been nude in the top of a ranger lookout tower though!! LOL Of course, I can’t say that was totally voluntary (blush …giggle).

Yay! I’m SO happy to hear that our favorite wood nymph will be frolicking among the warm colors (and hopefully not-too-cold temperatures) of autumn! Thanks so much for the gorgeous preview pics!
Hmmm … I wonder if in the course of this planned frolic one or two shots might have a Halloween theme…? I just got a mental image of a little Pixie-Witch … broom; black, pointy hat — no other costume parts required! Just a thought.

Todd & Suzy - Yep, these were taken with the self-timer and a tripod again. I was lucky and the weather was nice yesterday so I got to do another woodland shoot - this time with my friend Sarah Gregory! Now if the nice weather will just hold through Saturday, everything will be perfect.
