B&B

October 29th, 2008

I’m back from our little getaway.  The B&B was absolutely beautiful – lovingly restored and decorated with many fine antiques including this bowl full of more wooden spoons than my bottom ever wishes to encounter …

and more than a few little chairs to sit in and reflect upon matters.

The charming inn keepers entertained us with many funny and spooky tales of past guests and ghostly visitors.  We didn’t witness anything firsthand ourselves, but perhaps that’s because we had already heard the stories and were looking too hard.

We lucked out for the most part as far as the weather.  The rain would hold off until late at night allowing us to explore the area during the day.  It was a little chilly for me (but then anything much below 70 degrees is cold in my book) and so I find myself already looking forward to our second getaway when I’ll be able to shed my puffy coat in favor of bikinis and shorts.  Haven’t decided on where exactly we want to go, but it will be someplace warm and sunny even in February.  Any suggestions?

Towards the end of our stay, we were the only ones staying at the B&B aside from the inn keepers who live in a separate section of the house.  We chanced a little spanking play but remained cautious and kept it brief in case sound traveled more than we anticipated.  As much as we enjoyed the inn keepers’ amusing stories, we didn’t want to become one of them.  :)

    Aww

Sounds like you had a great weekend! I did too, lol. Check out my blog if you wanna see why! :p

Hope you and your new hubby will be able to experience weekends like your honeymoon over and over for many years to come!

  2. Sofie

Looks like you had a great time.

Warm in Feb.? Hmm.. New Zeeland or Australia?

Check out the Coyaba Beach Resort on Trip advisor .com in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It’s only two miles from the airport and five miles from town. We spent a week there and loved every minute of it. It’s bigger than a B&B but much smaller that Sandals or something similar.
    Happy Honeymooning….8-)

Great to have you back safe and warm, Pixie. Glad you didn’t run into a blizzard and end up stranded someplace (been there, done that). Hmmm… maybe the innkeepers were trying to suggest something non-vanilla with all those spoons and chairs, like “choose any chair/spoon combo and get a free spanking” (rain checks honored). Did you notice the pattern on the surfaces of the granite rocks in the riverbed? Something harder and more constant than your little hammer has been working away at them for a loooong time. Did they sing when you struck them?

  5. Winchester

Delighted that you had such a good time – even if for you it was cold. Just try the UK somewhen! The picture of the water with Autumn (Fall to you) colours was stunning – and how well you blended in with the rocks…pixie camouflage? I do hope you find somehwre warm in February – it would seem to point to the southerm Hemisphere though.

Oh – and I do hope there are still as many wooden spoons there as there were when you arrived….!!

    Orlando is nice in febuary

Belated congrats, Mrs. Mr-Pixie…I haven’t been able to access my spanko sites for about 10 days, since my personal computer was having issues, and your butt, although lovely, isn’t something that needs to be on my work computer.

Mr. Pixie is a lucky man…anyone that says otherwise is a moron.

What’s with the hammer? You a rock collector or geology junkie?

Glad it was a lovely honeymoon, sweetie, and equally glad to see more great photography.Welcome home. (HUGS)

Pixie–you can wear shorts or a bikini in Minnesota….
    Just don’t go outdoors. :-)

    Hi Pixie,

As Sofie and Winchester said already… In February it is nice and warm in New Zealand, the most beautiful country in the World. (And I know as I spent my whole working life in Tourism, able to see almost all countries and now already live 13 years in NZ myself!)
It is also a much sought after honeymoon destination as you can experience a lot of privacy in this sparsely populated country..!

So this is my suggestion: (And I am SERIOUS..!)
The two of you fly to Auckland airport, where I will wait for you personally. We offer you free accommodation for a couple of nights and (in the hammock) we will give you the best itinerary ever to see the finest parts (some hardly known) of New Zealand. With either a rental car or a campervan you tour and see the most unforgettable sights that exist in the World.
After all our correspondence you know me well enough to know that this is a serious offer and my wife and I would LOVE to meet with you both in person!
I will have the champagne waiting for you..! :-) and promise to leave you as much alone a fresly married couples need..

A powerful and tempting suggestion I would say..!

When you consider, please contact me at my private Gmail.

    Love and XXX, Funbun

All those spoons and chairs! What is this, a B&B for spankos?

  12. Little Princess dani

    Pixie,

I love the idea of the little chairs to sit in to reflect upon matters. I’m afraid my chair would have to be faced toward the corner……:)

I’m so happy that you had a good time!

Let me also wish you an early “Happy Halloween!”

pixie great to have you home again was your holiday destination quite near your home/? i had a chuckle over the spoons and group of chairs waitng for a naughty girls bottie look forward to your next post and the next part of your new video .love from tim.

Well your photographs must have a shot at “The most unusual honeymoon pictures” competition :-)

I’ve been there in November and it was still beach weather and I was informed that the temperature starts climbing after the winter low in February and is usually 70 + degrees in that month, so it might be worth considering Key West, Florida. If you have not been there it really is a beautiful and interesting place, a nice mix of beaches and history.

If you want to try something different, try Brazil in February. Can you say Carnaval?!! Florianopolis is beautiful and it doesn’t have nearly the insanity of Rio.
Punta Del Este in Uruguay is also wonderful.

welcome back pixie do it feel weird being married yet. i am sure now u can say ya husband has given u spankings instead of saying my boyfriend lol.

i am happy you had safe and fun honeymoon these past few week or month has been good and best one for you. you did alot wish you and ya new husband a happy marriage and plenty of spankings wishes too, hope you both have a long and happy healthy marriage

  17. Michael

Pixie, I’ve been laid up in the hospital and just heard the wonderful news about your marriage. Big huge congratulations and I know you will have many happy years ahead of you with your loving husband. Your wedding picture is gorgeous and you are a beautiful bride.

Best of luck and good fortune.

The Waikaloa Beach Marriot on the Big Island of Hawaii. Awesome, beautiful and Hawaii is in the 80s year round. Visit Mauna Loa for the observatory, visit Mauna Kea for the volcano. See black sand beaches and lots of gorgeous greenery. Just a suggestion for a warm place for a longer honeymoon.

  19. Sarah Gregory

Awww, looks like you had a good time. I am happy to see and hear that.

  20. 2Good

Nice spoon collection. It stands to reason that if any of the spoons happen to break “somehow” they should be used to warm you up from their new home in the fireplace on a chilly night at the spooky inn.

  21. Pixie

Jai – Wow! It sure does sound like you had a great weekend! Bratting was in high gear.

Sofie – It is tricky, isn’t it? I hope we won’t have to travel quite so far to find warm temperatures though a visit to Australia would be amazing.

Ray – That sounds great! I’m going to meet with a travel agent later and I’ll ask about Coyaba Beach.

^Mike – I’m not sure what the innkeepers might have been suggesting, but as we were leaving, the lady gave me a hug and affectionately called me Brat. My jaw dropped. Honestly I had been so well behaved and everything!

Yes the rocks would sing when we hit them. We were far from the only ones to have tried it as you could see little divots in nearly every rock in the field.

Winchester – Yes, I think we will definitely be heading south. I can hardly wait. And I promise that not a single spoon was nabbed. We have too many (in my opinion) here at home as it is!

Duncan – Is it warm enough for shorts and t-shirts year round?

JC – I am going to have to come up with a new way of referring to my former bf, now husband. Husband is too formal, but he gave me quite a look when I mentioned calling him Mr. Pixie. LOL. Perhaps MP for short?

I’m not a geology nut, though I did have a rock tumbler when I was a kid (along with my other uber-nerdy science toys). The innkeepers told us there was a field nearby where the rocks would chime if you hit them. It wasn’t quite like church bells, more like an anvil, but the whole place was really neat to explore.

007 – Thank you. It was a peaceful and quiet honeymoon and I always enjoy taking photos.

Dr. Ken – Hmmmm. So if I come for a visit you promise to turn up the heat to be at a constant, balmy 80 degrees? Or at least help to find other ways to stay warm?

funbun – Oh what a wonderful offer!! That is amazingly kind of you. Unfortunately I think it is a bit far for us to travel.

Redchief – Wouldn’t a B&B for spankos be a neat idea? This one is certainly all set and decorated for such fun.

dani – Yeah, my chair would probably be faced that way too. I was nervous each time I entered the room that the chairs might have been moved perhaps by ghostly visitors and the chairs would all be facing the wall.

tim – Yes, the B&B wasn’t too far from home, but it was still nice to get away for a few days. We wanted to have a little excursion until after we get through the holidays and have also had a chance to plan our traditional honeymoon.

Prefectdt – 70+ Plus doesn’t sound bad at all. That will be a place to look into as well if we don’t wish to leave the country.

Javi – That would be amazing. And Carnaval takes place in February, eh? Hmmmmm!!!

mike – It doesn’t feel weird until we actually say “husband” or “wife”. Or when I need to remember to sign my new name. LOL. But it’s all a happy weird.

Michael – I’m so sorry to hear that you have been in the hospital. I apologize for not offering my well wishes to you sooner. I hope you are feeling a lot better now. (((hugs)))

Chelsea – Hawaii is one of our top dream vacation locations. I know it’s pretty far from where we are, but I’m going to seriously look into going. Who knows how many chances we’ll have to take such a trip!

Sarah – We had a lovely time. Even though it wasn’t far, we always have fun just being together.

2Good – I have heard that implements make the best kindling. >:)

This is very non-spanking, but I like the photo of the steam locomotive.

    Dear Pixie,
Yes, if you come to Minnesota, I guarantee that you won’t be totally cold….. :-)

Hello to all you happy “bloggers”.
I am a brand new member of the Punished Brat site, and am totally new to the art of blogging, so if I err, please forgive (just don’t plan on spanking me–I ain’t no BOTTOM)

I have already confessed to Pixie that the primary reason I’m joining the site is I “met” Ms Wells some time ago by watching videos she made for another site (Firm Hand). I could never hear from that site that she was no longer making videos there, but fortune smiled on me and I came across Pixie’s site, and found her vids along with many, many other very attractive young ladies.

I am excited about becoming part of your little group, and will be reading your posts regularly.

A good day to one and all.

  26. gramps78

Hey, how about that? Just skimming thru some of the recent blogs and came across a very lengthy one from Pixie, in which she responded to many of you individually.
And she replied to me as well, but under a different name! I signed my original email to her as JC (my initials), but now of course for purposes of her site, I’m “gramps78″.
So Mrs Pixie(!) you may now call me “gramps 78″ if you wish.

What sorority were you in? Love the Dixie Paddle!
