The chair actually is quite nice. It’s a padded stool meant to comfort the bottom that sits on it … or the bottom that lays over it! Has those nice bars at the bottom to grab onto. I have been bent over the woodworking table on occasion too. Luckily he’s never chosen to clamp me into place.

The mention of paddles reminds me of a daydream I often have:

I’m standing in front of the college dean’s desk wearing a plaid schoolgirl outfit with delicate white panties and a beret-style hat.

The dean is lecturing me about my poor academic performance. Suddenly, he pushes a button and through the intercom he says, “send in the Punisher.”

I must say that the chair looks a bit uncomfortable. When the finishing touches are being applied to the paddle, maybe you should be told to bend over the workmate for the test swats. I think that would be a very fitting use for a workmate, and a lot more stable.

Even if it’s a common household item, we always wonder what the checker or people around us think when we buy something we’ll be using as a spanking implement. At the time it seems so painfully obvious that that 7-piece spatula set isn’t going to be used for stir-frying.
