Inspired by Marty’s suggestion left in the comments section of the last post I did on romping around naked in nature, I tried to do a version of the White Rock Soda logo. It’s a loose interpretation as it’s not quite the same pose, but hey, I’m a pixie on a rock in a stream.
It was warm and sunny that day but the water was a little brisk! Still, I had fun splashing around. The only really tough part was running barefoot over the rocks and getting into position fast enough before the camera’s timer went off. I have some amusing outtake shots (not posted) though.
I’m glad this one in particular turned out. While it wasn’t hard to get onto this large rock, it did require getting too close to a bunch of millipedes for my personal comfort. I guess they were sunning themselves too. If one had crawled on me, I probably would have screamed and fallen off the rock.
This will likely conclude my naked in nature self-portrait series for a while. It’s gotten surprisingly chilly recently considering it’s still August and as thrilling as it can be to be daring for these photos, I fear that one day I may truly startle a hiker if I keep pushing my luck. As I gear myself up for trying to get just one more photo, I run excuses through my head that I might use if caught - “I’m an art student working on my final.” “My clothes? I knew I forgot something when I left the house this morning.” “Public nudity? Errrmm … uhhh … OMG! Look over there!” (points and runs in opposite direction)

Stunning pics. Really awesome. You look sooo cold in that first one! That might be our favorite pic ever though. Hard to believe you take these by yourself with a timer. An amazing job. Of course, if the timer ever breaks… please feel free to call us.

Pixie, you truly do go above and beyond for your fans. The photos are lovely and inspire me to want to find some deserted stream to frolic in with thoughts of the unobserved park ranger who spots me from his fire tower and then comes and gathers up my clothes and then sternly tells me that in order to get them back I must be taught that public nudity is not allowed. Then being taken (nude) back to his tower I am soundly spanked before being given my clothes back. Thanks for all that you do for your fans and for inspiring such wonderful thoughts!!!

So beautiful, Pixie! You really have mastered the self-timer — it’s hard to get into a good position and look natural when you only have a few seconds. No professional photographer could capture you any better, I think.

Like others, I’m surprised you use a timer and not the bf (taking nekkid pics is part of the bf job description after all). I suspect the outtakes would be very scenic stream shots…and a Pixiebutt in the corner.

As everyone here can surely attest, no White Rock water sprite has anything on a certain Forest Pixie. Looking at all the stones beneath the surface, I’m just amazed and grateful that you didn’t turn your ankle on one and end up in a cast.
Wonder how far Cow Town is from the Pine Barrens? In addition to the risk of exposure from hikers and Park Rangers happening by, we wouldn’t want to lose you to the Jersey Devil who, spying you alone and nekkid in the woods, would simply tuck you under his arm and take you off to be his mate. (Can’t hardly blame him for that, though.
) Probably all that would show up on film would be a great… Big GRIN 
(Love that poll on Pixie’s Previews, BTW. Glad you were able to accomodate multiple choices. That should be quite useful further down the road.)

Of course, upon viewing the rest of the photos, my thoughts were decidedly, um, “warmer”. So maybe I’m not so old after all….

You must ave had great fun choosing the site and how to pose for the photos - and the end results are, as everyone has said, gorgeous. I don’t think the Naiads would have been in the same league - there is something about the first and last of these photos which is absolutely stunning in the total vulnerability you manage to portray. Thank you for being adventurous enough to take them, and brave enough to share them! Look as I may, the woods round here have discovered no pixies, nymphs or other beauties!

Oh yes, one more thing, if I may…I was just perusing some older Pixie pics I have stored away, and I couldn’t help being delighted (again) by the pic of you with your hair straight and fine and oh so caressable. Don’t get me wrong…I think you’re very caressable no matter what your appearance, but your straighter hair looks so very nice.

Erica - Although it can be challenging and limiting to work with only a self-timer, I am more relaxed in front of the camera knowing there is no one standing behind it. I worry so much about looking dumb in my pose or expression to the photographer, that I end up looking panicked and dumb. :-/
I’m sorry too that I won’t be attending SL this year. I get more bummed each day as the party fever spreads and I hear about all the fun stuff that is in store. Unfortunately, I have some vanilla obligations that take priority that weekend. Can’t even go have a good sulk then as I’m going to have to be smiley and social.

When I was in the woods where I took the first set of photos, I set up the camera, got naked, and then stayed that way until I was done. At the stream location where there was more of a chance of someone discovering me, I would set up the camera, get naked, hit the button, run into position, snap-snap, get redressed as fast as I can (often ending up with things inside out), and then set up again. Also moved around a lot more in the stream than in the woods. If I slipped and had to call for help, probably would be best if I had some clothes on.

PB - Oh if only I could be a real naiad. Always wanted to be a fairy or nymph when I grew up. This is the closest I’ll get though.

Dreams of Horses - Don’t worry. Cow town is wayyy on the other end of the state from the Pine Barrens and the Jersey Devil. My third grade teacher showed us a documentary on the Jersey Devil one day in class. I was scared out of my wits.
Marty - Thank you for making the suggestion! It gave me a fun goal to shoot for (the hardest part was coming up with a safe, quiet location to give it a try). I’m glad it turned out well and that you liked the end result.

Winchester - I fussed for a couple of days trying to think of a location that would be secluded yet easy for me to access. My original plan would have included a mile’s walk through a cornfield to arrive at the first stream I thought of. Thankfully just as I was lying down for a nap I came up with the location I ended up using. Who says naps aren’t productive? Keep up your searching. You never know what you might find one day.
Serial Spanker - Always fun to add a little spice and adventure to the every day routine. I’m sure I’ll be out there again one day … perhaps later in the fall to capture lispank’s suggestion.

Serial Spanker - My hair is naturally curly and I actually like it that way. It’s a part of who I am and I’m thankful for the curls as they give some much needed volume to my otherwise super thin tresses. It’s fun to have it straightened once in a while when I go for a cut at the salon (I’m not so good at straightening it myself without ending up with burns and missed waves) but for the most part I’m going to probably always be a curly girl.

Coming in late on this one, but I’ll risk redundancy and add one more voice to the the chorus of those singing the praises of these OUTSTANDING photos, and your ongoing efforts to make Nature even more beautiful.
I’d also LOVE to see our favorite naked Pixie frolicking among the red and yellow leaves of autumn. Just bring along a blanket to wrap in and thermos of hot chocolate to sip between takes!
