Finally got to spend a little time at the Jersey shore this week. While I often engage in some sort of outdoor activity (biking, gardening, frolicking in the woods), it’s been a while since my boyfriend and I managed to get to the beach.
It was very hot and sunny so of course I slathered up with plenty of sunscreen. Still, I wanted to see if maybe I’d redefined those tanlines a little despite the SPF 55. I took a peek Coppertone girl style but there wasn’t much of a notable color change.
No bare bottom photos. As it was, I managed to take a cheek peek just as the park police drove by on patrol. Good job!
It was nice to get away even if it isn’t all that far away at all. Had a great time soaking up some rays, kicking butt at pinball, dining on oversized, overpriced treats, and walking the boardwalk for hours. Lovely summer retreat.

I’m glad that you got some fun time with your boyfriend. But you mean you didn’t take pictures of you coming out of the water, you could have played a water pixie.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time Pixie! Best part about the beach: No poison ivy

nice pictures! I love reading your blog!
hey on the set of a spanking movie, do you call each other (models) by your real names or your model’s one?

I like your photos. It makes me think how crazy busy I have been all summer that I haven’t even been to the beach yet and we have so many in my town. I mean I live on the coast, so I should have been by now, oh well. Maybe I will make it a priority to get there before the summer is over. Thanks for the great post.

lovely pictures: I think if I had been driving the police patrol car I would have driven very slowly along that stretch of sand and again back again - just to admire the view and to ensure that you were safe!
How I wish we could have just some of the lovely weather you get - you just don’t know how lucky you are! (or perhaps you do!) Just be careful though not to over-expose in the name of getting the tan lines back (although they do make a wonderful frame for white (or red) bottoms!

Dear Pixie,
Thanks for the pictures. I’d love to visit New Jersey
sometime. Your kindness shows, especially in the
first one….kind smile…:)

Pixie,
Was the patrol car playing the theme from Jaws every time it passed? Someone hereabouts thought that would be quite intimidating to all the young miscreants on the beach. Instead, it had the unintended effect of scaring people out of the water and away from the beach (and vendor pavilions) entirely. No one was left to bare themselves except long over-tanned senior citizens who couldn’t hear the music anyway. %P

Pixie–
Thanks for the photos, and thanks for sharing your getaway with us! Even if you didn’t get very far away, sometimes those are the best breaks of all. I’m in the middle of some time off from work–don’t have to be back on the job until Aug. 11–and for the most part, my plans are to stay home, read, watch TV, go to some movies, eat and sleep! A stay-at-home vacation (what they call a “staycation” is my favorite!
No trips to the beach, though. To borrow a joke from Louie Anderson, I try to lay out and catch some sun…..people come along and try to drag me back into the water…..

The second picture down with you in the shade explains why you have no tan lines (lol) and SPF 50+ is a little extreme if you want any tan at all. It seems like you make it to the beach more often than I do and I live near Daytona Beach.
But you deserve a rest and it’s good to get away with the BF especially to the beach. The warm sun and salt water along with me in a skimpy suit always seems to give my boyfriend ideas after we head back to the room. Darn, now I need to get to the beach soon!!!!

You look so fine as always, I know you are wearing your sunblock and thank you for donating to the Mutt Scouts- They really have been helping me reach out to some mutts. I think Stink could handle a Maxxxi type just fine. xxx

Pixie, haven’t been in the Ocean in ages, it is that 60 miles to the shore that gets me, lol.

lispank - Even though the air was warm, the water was chilly. It was only 63 degrees and being the big frost chicken I am, I refused to wade in past my knees.
Kat - Yeah! Poison ivy free zones rank high in my book.
Anonymous - Thanks.
Honestly, it’s a mix. We go back and forth between calling eachother by our model names and real names.
Sarah - There are a few weeks of summer left so you have time yet. Even though you are so busy and all over the place, make sure to take time to enjoy yourself and do things you want to do … just for you.
Winchester - I’m very appreciative of the weather we’ve been having lately. This is my favorite season by far. And don’t worry, I made sure to apply and reapply plenty of sunscreen. I was so dilligent in fact, that I barely got any color at all!
dani - Thank you. Despite the bad rep that NJ gets sometimes, there are many lovely places to visit. Glad I can show you some of them through photos.
Dreams of Horses - That’s too funny. With it being shark week on Discovery last week, I was wondering if anyone would try to play any Jaws related pranks.
tim - Have you sent me a friend’s request?
Dr. Ken - Staycations can be great. Especially since usually you need a vacation to recover from your vacation after travelling all over.
Linde - I’m so worried about skin damage after knowing way too many people that have recently been diagnosed that I go nowhere without my sunscreen (and bug spray and ivy block wipes … yeah, my bag features an interesting collection of items). I hope you are able to get in some beach time soon … and some fun time aftewards with your BF too!
Mike - Yep, I really am most comfortable laying bottoms up.
Serial Spanker - Thank you. Glad you enjoy my slightly naughty side.
Clare - Thanks Clare.
And thank you for all that you’re doing to help with animal rescue.
Randall - It’s about 120 miles from Cowtown to our preferred shore point. It was worth it though!

It’d too bad in that last picture what wasn’t caught in the frame was the patrol-dude’s eyes popping out of his head as he craned to see what you were doing and control his vehicle at the same time.
Miss you sweet pea!

Beverly: “Miss you sweet pea!”
You’re right! Pixie IS a sweet pea….
