We don’t feature mouth soapings in our videos at Punished Brats too often, but every once in a while, we do incorporate one into a standard domestic spanking scene. I’ve done a couple and I know that Beverly has done at least one with us as well as a few for other sites. And I believe, that like me, Beverly kind of enjoys the experience.
I never had my mouth washed out with soap growing up so I didn’t have any firsthand experience before doing a soapy scene. In fact, I’d never seen anyone get their mouth soaped except for poor Ralphie in A Christmas Story. So a few days before the shoot, I decided to try this soap thing out for myself.
I bought a bar of Ivory, which according to various accounts is the #1 recommended brand for its safety (best not to use lye soap – want it to be a punishment, not result in a trip to the hospital) and effectiveness. I inhaled the pleasant scent as I removed the wrapper. It smelled nice. How bad could it be to taste it? Still hesitant, I took a lick. Not bad at all. So I crammed the whole bar into my mouth Ralphie style.
At first the soap tasted like a bland lemon. Then a rather salty, bland lemon. And then a greasy, salty, bland lemon. Ugh!!! I spit, rinsed, brushed my teeth, gargled, and could still taste a trace of the soap in my mouth. Ptooey!!
I chucked the bar of Ivory. I didn’t care to be reminded of the taste each time I washed my hands nor did I want to risk having to explain to potential guests why there were bite marks in the soap.
In the scene these pictures were taken from, Report Card Lies, we used a bar of complimentary hotel soap. The hotel bars are smaller and easier to fit whole in a naughty mouth. I would like to note that the fancy French milled hotel soap was actually a step up in flavor (as far as these things go) from Ivory with its notes of Oil of Bergamot. Still it was a salty, greasy affair like cold French fries dipped in Earl Grey tea.
Mouth soaping is a fetish with devoted followers all to itself. When Report Card Lies came out last year, I followed links from our site statistics page that lead to a forum where the scene was mentioned. Much like spanking forums, there was lots of debate over the proper technique, brands of soaps, and a fair amount of discussion over the use of bar soap versus liquid. I learned lots just in lurking for a little while. Lots of lather and drooling is desirable. Soap on a rag or a toothbrush is considered by some to be the proper technique versus inserting a whole bar of soap into the mouth. And some instruct the naughty one to swallow the suds or liquid soap as part of the punishment.
I clearly am a novice and only dabble in mouth soaping play, but I think I’d draw the line at swallowing soap. Someone once wrote to me about pouring a significant amount of dish detergent in a girl’s mouth and making her swallow it. The intent was to not only leave an unpleasant taste in her mouth, but to also cause cramping and intestinal distress in a few hours. I’m not sure how safe that is, but even if it’s non-toxic, that’s a little more punishment than I’m up for personally. The embarrassment of having to hold a bar of soap in my mouth or having someone wash my mouth out for me plus the nasty lingering taste is more than enough of a reminder to behave next time! Throw in a good spanking and I promise I’ll be quite contrite for some time to come.

I did have firsthand experience with mouthsoaping as a child — not only did my mother stick the bar in my mouth, but she would scrape it onto my bottom teeth so it would linger. Utterly vile. Needless to say, nowadays, any man who comes near me with a bar of soap will end up with soap bubbles wafting from every orifice.
Swallowing liquid soap?? Good grief, what’s next? “Here, bad girl, eat this heavily mayonnaised egg salad that’s been sitting out in the sun since noon yesterday”?

I was soaped once with a bar of ivory and not only was the taste horrible, but my tongue ended up swelling and breaking out in painful canker sores all along the tip. Worse than that is the fact that I work a job that involves talking all day. The next day was painful and I sounded like a three year old with a lisp.
Not sure what to tell my coworkers when asked what was wrong, I lied and said my morning coffee was way too hot. One coworker felt so bad he bought me a popsicle to help me feel better.
Never again.

Ahh, the dreaded Soap Sandwich. Never had the displeasure growing up, though both my younger sisters did. Spanking stories that dwell on soap-swallowing, insertions of ginger, or other “chemical agents” intended to inflict abdominal distress and bowel loosenings are a complete turnoff to me. They smack of abuse and have no place in a domestic or familial discipline scene, IMHO.
That said, I feel there is still a place for a “tastefully”
done mouthsoaping scene as it, like the good spanking which should accompany it, tends to give the recipient a certain feeling of being put-in-one’s-place. Like standing (or kneeling) fresh-spanked and bare in the corner, or being taken by the ear and marched to your fate, getting a “dose of the soap” is an element that evokes a visceral response in many viewers and should not be done away with.

Having grown up with mouth soaping I can tell you first hand how nasty the taste is, but it is a good punishment following a spanking. My stepmother Victoria was a fan of dial soap- a bit harsher in taste, and it lingered a while as well. I enjoy seeing the ocasional mouth soaping followed by a spanking as punishment for lying or swearing or just a bad mouth in general. I hope to see more in the future.

Well Coal Tar soap wasn’t too bad (”wasn’t too bad” as in it would be a 50/50 split choice between that and having my fingernails pulled out) but all the other types led to me form the following equation.
Mouth soaping = SAFEWORD! SAFEWORD!
Having said that I saw the “Getting it over with” (I think that was what it was called) film, featuring Clare Fonda and Beverly Bacci and enjoyed it greatly. This left me a little confused about the ethical question of “Is it OK to enjoy entertainment featuring punishment that I would not be prepared to undergo myself?

I can well remember having my mouth washed out with soap - not a soap bar, but a solution made with soap suds (which are probably no longer available). It was horrendous - it was not accompanied by a spanking or slap (I think a slap was all I ever got unless it was the cane - but that was something different) - and it left a feeling of nastiness which I took a long time to get over. :=( It could be said therefore that it worked in my case - I stopped foul-mouthing my mother and never did it again. But it is not something I would ever wish on anyone - and I don’t like the thought of young ladies being “soaped” today. In ant case, I reckon that frequently it is the b/f or dom who really deserved to be soaped rather than the girl - but that does not seem to happen within the scene.
That I can remember it with such displeasure 55 or so years later is a sign of its power. PLEASE no mouthsoaping for you or the other stars of PB.

I sort of had firsthand experience with this, but my mom used a drop of Dawn dish detergent. The fight was getting it into our mouths, she didn’t care what we did with it once it was there. Not the healthiest lifestyle growing up.
When I first started playing the person whom I played with used soap…once. Bad idea, he actually used zest soap, chopped up, and made me chew it. My tongue was swollen for a week.
It’s not a hard limit, but I wouldn’t do it willingly…and my boyfriend isn’t into it, thank goodness. He doesn’t even care if I cuss…lying is met with the bathbrush or cane.

I had a couple of instances dealing with soaping while growing up. They both had to do with the F-Bomb, which I thought was kind of unfair because I had to learn while getting a very long and very hard bare-bottom spanking which I had NO IDEA why until my parents finally calmed down enough to explain the extreme response I got when the word was used. Parents need to figure out some way to warn kids about this word since they ARE going to hear it sooner or later. My first time was in church and (as expected) it initiated a semi-public spanking of my 10 year old bpottom. All I did was repeat what i heard while playing outside. The spanking was something I had experienced before but the Ivory soap I was forced to keep in my mouth for 5 minutes was a memorable life experience. The second time was when I was much older and I told my Mom to “F” off. Nothing unexpected after that (lol) but I never did (or will ..lol) forget THAT.
I do remeber the kid in church had his mouth soaped right there with a bar his mom had in her purse. I guess language was an ongoing problem with him since she carried the soad with her even to church.
Soaping never held any intrest with me and although I wouldn’t forgo seeing a movie with it in it, it would probably be fast forwarded by me through that section.
Chemicals (such as hot sauce) used in punishment boarder on abuse but in a consensual movie if not used to extreme can be of interest …sometimes!!
Just don’t ever leave out the SPANKING!!!! LOL

From what I once read in a first aid pamphlet swallowed soap can become very nasty if the person has to vomit (might it be because of the taste or for any other reason). If I recall it correctly the soap could turn into bubbles and get into the lungs.
So I would not recommend to swallow that stuff, nor would I ever get the idea of putting a bar of soap into anyones mouth…
Never heard that anyone did this here in Europe. In Germany any parents doing this with their kids would be “relieved off their duties”.

I saw the soaping Clare dished up on the Pajama Spankings dvd for PB. It’s just not something I can say I approve of. I’ll paddle a bottom crimson for cussing, but putting soap in someone else’s mouth just aint my style.

I seem to be with the majority, here. Mouth-soaping just does nothing for me and is not something I would ever use. And the idea of making someone swallow the suds or dish soap strikes me as unnecessarily cruel.
I’ll stick to applying the hand, paddle or hairbrush where it will do the most good!

Serial Spanker – I haven’t voluntarily tried tasting any soap since. I’m sticking with liquid Soft Soap which despite being sunny raspberry scented, I’m not about to give it a taste test.

Based on various accounts, I’m very glad they didn’t use soap too.
I have heard the use of hot sauce as punishment too. Since I’m allergic to peppers, soap would actually be a safer way to go.

I know I’m coming in late on this one, but I’ll be one more saying that, on the giving or receiving end, the idea of mouth soaping has absolutely zero appeal for me.
Just my opinion, but, if it’s not about the bum, really, what’s the point?

One should NEVER make someone swallow soap. One shouldn’t play Devil May Care with internal organs (God/Nature gave us this resilient lump of flesh and muscle below our tail bone and above our thighs, for punishment, and may I say God/Nature was very kind and artistic with your lump, knowing you would be naughty and need it. Every rose has its thorn, as the poet says.
I recommend soaping up the corner of a small, wet towel, making the wicked naughty wench stick out her tongue, and rubbing away, occasionally rinsing out her mouth so she doesn’t get used to it. This, of course, works on men as well.
On a side note, the recently posted Teacher Evaluation film on Punished Brats is excellent, but I must say that getting a C in Organic Chemistry without hardly attending class is pretty darn good.

I’ve never tried it (and thanks for reminding me of Christmas Story) but have to admit I was actually quite disappointed when I did a private shoot recently, and the director had requested a soaping scene, but to fake it so it never went in my mouth. I was quite game at the time, although I’m not sure I would have been so enthusiastic once it went in my mouth…

I was “soaped” after a paddling for lying or bad language. First a toothbrush was rubbed on a bar of Ivory then my mouth scrubbed. This was done over the washtubs in the mudroom in case I “barfed”. The remaining bar was put in my mouth for me to “enjoy” during cornertime.
FYI…rinse with milk, water just makes suds, the fat in milk breaks down the soap.

I have to agree with all of the posts, I have been mouthsoaping submissive for over 20 years, and yes, my lips have swollen due to chewing a bar of Dial, but nothing benedryl and ice didn’t fix and nature in a few days.
We don’t condone swallowing or forcing someome to swallow liquid or bar soaps, if one wants to cause distress, there are always large red rubber bags with hoses full of hot soapy water for the other end to do that.
Anyways, we have a forum at ProBoards, the wmmows forum at Yahoo and my site, we also like spanking, corner time and other B&D and D/s play.
Someone posted the two or three pics you have here with the soap at either the proboard forum or Yahoo group, if you don’t mind, I would like to keep them up there, but now that I know who created them, I would like your permission.
