I’m a bit under the weather this weekend. Bad timing when it’s a gorgeous long holiday weekend here.
So instead of hiking, barbecuing, swimming, and all the fun stuff I had planned, I’m stuck in bed trying to ignore the aroma wafting over from the neighbor’s grill next door that is bringing my nausea to a whole new level. Ugh.
So I definitely won’t have any brand new pics or adventures to post for a couple of days. But what I do have are a few more fun photos that Clare and I took before we headed out to the prom-like party. The party was definitely vanilla (well sorta, right Clare?), but we weren’t!!
I was so sore by this point that even a single pat over my dress was excruciating.
So I was rightfully apprehensive about exposing my poor bare bottom.
The corner almost seemed like a reprieve.
On our way to the car following the party, I spotted this mural in the parking deck. The girl in the painting appeared to be giving the classic over-the-shoulder-I’ve-just-been-spanked smile and so I decided to join her for a photo.

So sorry to hear about your under-the-weatherness, Pix! Now, rest, and take care of yourself, young lady! And take every opportunity to be pampered and waited on. I’m hoping you’ll at least be feeling better enough to enjoy the latter part of the three-day weekend. Get well!!

Hi Sweetie, I read your post on Pixie’s Previews. Barring some dire need, Brats will never shoot without you love.

Get well soon, Pixie..! Guess your experiences over there in California have been exhausting you, making you prone to illnesses, like this flu.
Take care, my dear and stay in bed till it all has gone.
Love and XXX, Funbun
PS: And thanks for that peep under your skirt whilst over Clare’s knee. Despite the very red and painful buttocks, the picture looks a million!

Get Well Soon! Your garden babies need you…:)

Hi Pixie, I do hope you feel better soon.

We’re having a traditional English bank holiday weekend as well – several inches of rain overnight, and everything is absolutely soaking wet outside.
Still, I got my grass cut yesterday.
In the meantime, thanks for posting the Clare pics.

Of all the rotten luck:
Gorgeous weather and indoors you’re stuck!
Fret not, dearheart, you’re due some real “me” time, if anyone is. Roll yourself up snugly in a blanket like a taco, have youself a nice, big mug o’chicken soup, and then take a long nap. After everyone’s gone to sleep, you can sit in the dark and watch some of your favorite ghost flicks (like the old B&W “The Haunting”… then again, maybe not :O ). That ought to scare some of dem evil spirits outa ya.
Hope you feel better soon.

Awww, you’re sick?! Sorry, no BBQ for you. Insead a prescription of flat coke or ginger ale, chicken soup and Peanut cuddles.
The corner was almost a reprieve? Gosh, you must REALLY be sick to utter such nonsense!

Hmmm, I was trying to think of something witty or at least slightly amusing on the hope that it would make you feel better. Oh well, get well soon anyway. (((hugs)))

Dear Pixie,
I hope you’re feeling better! This spring weather has been so unpredictable and “unnormal” that I think it’s making everyone come down with something or other–myself included, although I’m well over it now.
Let the BF take care of you, and I’m sure all of the TLC will have you back to your sweet, lovable self in no time!

Pixie, hope you’re feeling better soon and I hope it wasn’t our hike that wore you down so you got sick!! Sending all our best thoughts your way.
