As you may have noticed, I’ve moved the home of my blog. In order to dodge Blogger’s impending content warning of doom, I’ve moved everything over to my own little place on the web, www.SpankingPixie.com. Update your bookmarks!!
I’m still going through some growing pains as I try to figure out world of WordPress. Thankfully I was able to get all of my posts and nearly all of the comments to transfer over. I’m still fiddling with the look of the layout and color scheme as well as a number of other features, but the important thing is, it’s up and running. I’ll probably be very busy the next few days as I smooth out all the kinks and stomp around in frustration.
I took this picture today to go along with the theme of moving. I can’t remember who suggested such a photo back when I was moving into my house, but I decided to give it a try. My first attempt wasn’t so great. Not because the photo turned out poorly, but when I first tried bending over and stuffing myself in the box so that you’d see just my cheeks above the words “Fragile” and “This Side Up”, I lost my balance and landed very, very hard squarely on my “fragile” bottom. 
I opted not to try this pose again.

Anonymous – Yep. Apparently when Google puts the content warning page up, it removes you from search engines and it greatly impacts readership. I was also getting nervous that one day they’d delete blogs without warning.

I noticed recently the forces of evil had been spreading their warnings of doom rather quickly. Several blogs have already disappeared without warning.
“Stomp around in frustration”? Aww…Do you need a spanking to help you maintain focus?

I’d noticed all the content warnings (some on new blogs only a few posts old, that I clicked into from Bottom Smarts) but I did not know that you got removed from search engines. Thanks for the warning.
I think I might take a look at moving to sensual writer.

I’m sure you will manage to get all the details sorted. You’re a very clever girl, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Clever too, to be ahead of the “Sensors from the middle ages”.
I lost some Groups a couple of times and I know how much work it is to recover everything.
And worse was that you loose ALL your email contacts in one go as well…!
I’m sure you will get it OK with the assistance of some good, loving and stimulating spankings..

Javi – Yes, I probably could have used a good spanking last night as I was in a very crabby mood when I couldn’t get the template to change as I wanted. Emma (of Bishy’s Blog) was very helpful to send a few WP tips my way and got me on track though.

Prefectdt – Yes, Blogger seems to be getting more aggressive with their content warnings. I’m not sure what triggers them, but I knew it would only be a matter of time before my blog was censored too.
Steve – A blog warming party! What a lovely idea!!!
Kevin – No, he thought it was pretty funny, but was very glad (as was I) that I didn’t seriously hurt myself as we know nearly everyone on the rescue squad and trying to explain why I was half dressed and half stuffed in a box in my living room with a camera on a tripod would be tricky.
Dreams of Horses – WordPress is good in that they offer software to allow you to host your blog independently on your own server/webhost so I’m reasonably assured I won’t get censored or deleted and it offers many features that I am eager to play with … once I figure them out.
Funbun – Thank you. Things seem to be coming along now. Losing your groups must have been devastating.

Don’t worry about the format and layout. The new blog looks very good to me.
And it seems to allow the use of smiles.
That can prevent people like me who can’t express themselves perfectly in English from being misunderstood.
(By the way the censorship is getting ridiculous….like in the middle ages….)

Like the new place! We got spanked with Blogger’s content thingy, and it’s having an impact. Thinking of moving too… and would love to hear more about what you’ve thought about your switch over. Pros and cons and such. Sure does seem that you’ve had a fast and positive start over here though!
