Somehow I managed to pick up a summer cold. Blah. There’s never a really “good” time to be sick, but couldn’t this have waited until after this weekend’s shoot? I have mischief to find with Chloe tomorrow and then plenty of spankings to endure on Saturday. It’s no fun to get spanked when your head hurts worse than your bottom and “ow, ow, achoo!” just detracts from the scene. Plus, while it’s good to share, somehow people don’t appreciate sharing so much when it comes to viruses and so I think Chloe, David, Eric, Sarah, Veronica, and George will appreciate it if I don’t offer a big helping of germs.
So I’m doing everything I can to be back in fighting condition by tomorrow – resting, drinking hot tea, taking vitamins, and having good ol’ fashioned chicken soup. I’m on the mend already and feel much better than I did yesterday. Hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be at least feeling 99% better as we have a lot of fun planned.

You just need to find a small enough hairbrush to convince all those germs to stop their naughty ways {grin}
Hope you feel better Pixie!

Well, at least you’ll have Dr. Veronica near to take care of you…

Poor thing! I had to do a shoot with a bad cold once — I woke up that morning with no voice! But, mind triumphed over matter, somehow, and the show went on. Hope you feel better SOON. — Erica

The Doctor says, “Get well soon, Pixie!”
Ok, I’m more a Doctor of Spankology than a real Doctor–but the sentiment is still the same.
Just follow all the good advice you’re getting here–plenty of rest, plenty of liquids, vitamins, your favorite cold remedy, chicken soup, keep your bottom warm…er, I mean, keep warm–and I think you’ll be fine.
For myself, Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine works nicely, and also–for some reason–pasta! (Sure, I weigh too much, but I’m healthy, dammit!!)
Good luck with the shoot. I happily look forward to the return of Sarah Gregory, she’s one of my PB favorites. Tell her this fan says “Hi” and I’m looking forward to seeing her in action soon–or should that be, seeing her on the receiving end of the action?

Feel better sweetie. Get well soon. And of course, if you need to get your temperature taken…..(EG and fond memories of “Spacegirls”).
(HUGS) Believe me I sympathize. I have sinuses from hell in addition to asthma, so a cold kills me. Literally.

Hey, be happy with your current ailment. I came back from Mexico with a mild form of the standard symptoms many associate with travel to that destination. I would think that would be far more difficult to deal with if you are due for an on-camera spanking!
Have a great shoot. You always seem to rise to the occasion.

Well dear, Eric let me know that you and Chloe were both in good form and every so bratty. Think you both have well deserved spankings coming your way tomorrow.

Pixie,
The next time you start to feel a cold coming on take “Airborne”.
It will stop your cold early. You can buy Airborne at your local CVS.
It works!

Funbun – thanks for the rays!
Dave – thank you. I did feel much better by Friday. I’m pretty worn out now though after two days of shooting. Time for a bit more R&R.
Mark – If only I could! Bad germs.
smallhanded – just as long as Dr. Veronica doesn’t have those giant B12 shots with her. I promise I’m not faking this time!
Erica – oh that must have been terrible to have to get through with no voice. You are a major trooper.
2Good – yes, I’ve heard good things about Zicam. I may have to try that next time around. Hopefully it won’t be anytime soon though.
Dr. Ken – thank you. We got lots of good scenes in today with Sarah Gregory. I’ll write more about our shoot in the next couple of days.
007 – thanks but no spacegirl “twizzling” for me!
Brad – I definitely have to agree that a cold is far easier to deal with than your Mexican momento.
David – Poor Eric is going to need a few days to recover … and he didn’t even catch our germs.
Tim – I thought Airborne was what you took when other germy people around you had colds to prevent you from catching one. Shoot. I even had some here but didn’t take it. But thankfully I’m well on the way to being better.
