Everything still looks promising as far as me moving in a couple of months. As exciting as that is, I’m going to miss some of my treasured walking spots. One of my favorites is along the railroad tracks. Of course I don’t usually go walking barefoot while wearing a skirt, but hey, why not.
Do you think I could make it as a 1930′s era damsel in distress, strapped to the tracks by a sinister villain with a pencil thin mustache?
Of course it’s always best to check that in fact no real trains are coming before attempting this. Don’t worry. False alarm.

I’m going to miss this place. But I’ll no doubt have plenty of new adventures and places to explore and share.

Pixie, that railroad stunt was pretty risky. We had to lose you! Perhaps someone should use a cane to make some railroad tracks closer to home to help you remember where not to lie down?

Eric – Thankfully that “no corner” clause is still in effect for another month.
Jack – I have to admit, it was just a tad risky. The train only comes through twice a day, but I suppose there is always a chance of an extra or unscheduled one coming by. Perhaps a firm reminder is in order. Any volunteers?

I only have your best interest at heart when I say: If I caught you fooling around on those railroad tracks like that, you’d def. be sleeping on your tummy that nite.
Your tushy seems to love exhibiting itself in outdoor places, often somewhat risky ones i.e. RR tracks, bridge abutt-ments, if I recall from previous posts etc.
*sighs…pixies are so cute but so naughty as well..*

Thanks for sharing the great pics. And I concur with the others, though I kinda doubt the train is THAT big of a danger. Then again, if you’re still seeking “volunteers” to give you that firm reminder….

It is lovely here.
007 – it was quite warm here yesterday so the rail wasn’t cold at all. This particular track runs supplies back and forth from a processing plant only twice a day so it’s not nearly as dangerous as say a passenger line, but reminders to always be careful that come in the form of a hot bottom are welcome.
Dr. Ken – At first I misread your comment as “Where do I put that hairbrush…?” I wondered if I was going to have to give directions on how to find my bottom. My mistake though. Let me know when you find your favorite implement and step right up.
Prefectdt – Thank you! Yes, there definitely will be plenty of countryside where I’m going. You can’t take a Pixie too far out of the woods you know.

Playing on railway lines is not to be encouraged – even when they are not often used. Probably deserves an hour or two of corner-time without the option (as in Alternative Punishemnt pt1) – but you would hate that and it might discourage you from sharing your lovely outside pictures – which would be a great shame because they are fun. So perhaps just a spanking will suffice – not least for lying down on dirty railtrack in a nice clean dress!
I didn’t quite understand the bit about not walking barefoot while wearing a skirt. Do you walk barefoot in jeans or shorts? Or only wihout either.
However – knowing your propensity for fantasies, the combination of barefoot and the thought of spoiling your dress set me thinking about “Polly Flinders”: or have you already done that one too?
Hope the move eventually goes well and that there will be plenty of the Great Outdoors for you to explore (safely) and share with us.

Winchester – As you know, corner time is the bane of my existence!! Thank you for considering an alternative form of discipline.
Normally when I go for my walks I’m dressed in a t-shirt, either running shorts or denim shorts, and sneakers as my goal is fitness and fresh air, not what looks nice. But since I wanted to take some photos to remember this area once I’ve moved, I wanted to dress up just a little and so I stayed in my skirt and top rather than change into workout clothes. I wore sandals to walk there, but removed them when balancing on the rail.
I hadn’t heard of Polly Flinders before, but having just looked it up online, I do see the similarities!!
