Here are some pictures from my kayaking fun this afternoon.
It was absolutely beautiful out on the lake.

Yes, I tool around in a pink kayak. When buying them last year, the model we were interested in only came in bug guts green, overripe banana yellow and black, and cotton candy pink. I’m not sure those were the actual manufacturer descriptions, but I think they should be. I really wanted a nice blue, but pink was the best I could do.
There were about a dozen male Mallards sitting on this pier. They were probably working on their tans to impress the ladies. Unfortunately they were a bit camera shy and most of them flew away before I could take their picture.

Eric – Never had to test out my kayak rolling skills as our kayaks have an open cockpit. This also means that while they are great on the lake, calmer rivers, and the bay, no white-water for us in them! We are planning on going white-water rafting this summer though. Woot!
007 – It was a lot of fun. I hope to post a couple more pics from the weekend a little later on.
