Bikini panties, boyshorts, thongs, tangas … cotton, satin, lace … plain ones, cute ones, sexy ones … my panty drawer runneth over! Literally. It’s hard to believe that at one point I never gave too much thought to my undies. Oh how things have changed.
I personally prefer satiny low-rise bikini cut panties, but thongs are good too - especially when needing to avoid the dreaded Visible Panty Line. For Punished Brats shoots, bikini cut and sometimes boyshorts are the norm. While thongs can look pretty, it doesn’t make much sense for the undergarment to be taken down if it was never providing any protection in the first place. And yet if they don’t come down, can you really call it a bare bottom spanking?
But what is your preference when it comes to panties? What do you prefer to see a girl wear for her spanking before the bottoms come all the way down?

Well, cotton is best but color/pattern doesn’t really matter. Your bikini and boy shorts examples were great. Although, white is very good for a classic.
As for alternatives, several years ago I saw a Playboy spread of an actress who wore men’s white briefs. Very sexy. I couldn’t help but visualize her bent over a knee. Maybe a scene like: She in trouble for letting the laundry pile up. Her protests muted when it is discovered she had to wear a pair of his briefs today since all hers were in the pile awaiting wash.

I’m really glad you brought up this subject. Personally I love bikini panties, especially white satin. It seems as though there are a lot of spanking fans who share the panty fetish. I think I’m the first here to express a great fondness for ruffles. They’re just so…spanky - as if they were created just for the purpose of making a female bottom look cute and naughty, though innocent. Plus there is a lovely embarrassment factor when you make a grown woman put them on. On the whole, though, I’m glad we have a great variety of panty options - all have some level of charm.

And of course, thongs are super hot, but if panties are going to come down for a bare-bottom spanking, it’s so much better to leave something to the imagination.

Thongs are great if you’re attending a spanking party, but for photos and film shoots….I’d say bikini cut. Second choice would be something with ruffles or lace–y’know, something real girly.
But there definitely should be something there to pull down once the spanking starts….it’s a good psychological component to the scene…

Bikini cut is my preference although I tend to like some color rather than the plain white (although the white is a nice contrast to a reddened bottom…..)
And yes, you can’t call it a bare bottom spanking unless the panties (including thongs) comes down.

I like nylon or silk bikini panties or boy shorts, especially the ones with the dark edges. My favorite color would be light blue.

I persoanly am not a fan of the thong. Part of the ritual anticipation is in the unveiling. First there is the thrill of seeing everything but what the panty covers and then the lowering of her last defense.
White cotton is nice but silky or lacy panties are very erotic. Different styles for different times. I vote for an assortment, minus the thongs.

For special occasion spankings and some role play scenarios I really like ruffled panties on the spankee. For every day boy shoerts or bikini cut.
